Sociopaths feel nothing genuine. Everything is a caricature of observations of other people's emotions. I was almost killed by my sociopath ex in 2004. I know it all too well and can now identify the behavior better than a psychologist. I was lucky my son and I made it out at all. A giant red flag for me should've been how frequently things he would say to me I recognized as quotes from movies. He'd say something, and I'm a huge movie buff, so I'd call him on it and he'd play it off as if he knew that and was just part of him loving movies too. I'm actually just now putting 2 and 2 together and realizing how many movies he knew by heart that were considered more chick type flicks. I'm now realizing he purposely watched those as to relate to women's emotions. God I still have realizations from those nightmare years. 19 years I've had to deal with this psycho, 19. Sorry, my point is that they are machines. They watch, they mimic right down to accents and characters they've seen. Nothing is real, they are incapable of emotion or empathy of any kind. Complete self focus, they are always the victim. They are chameleons, so good at what they do it's terrifying. I just want to tell every woman and girl on earth the warning signs, the red flags because I wouldn't wish what I e been through on anyone except him.

Some of those things make sense in groups, but altogether it’s suspicious. They do. Quite often too, from what I’ve seen in watching crime videos. A person who is contemplating taking the life of another person, or they have already done it and need to get rid of the ßody, those people are most definitely not “in their right mind”. Sane people don’t commit murder. Whatever their frame of mind, justice must be served, and they must be held accountable for their crimes. Very few are legitimately insane where they don’t know what they did was wrong. I used to work for a state mental hospital as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, an RN in charge of the clinical management of a team of patients, along with staff from other departments. I worked on the locked forensic unit, so we had the people who were found not guilty by reason of insanity for murder. Not every patient on that unit had killed somebody, but a few had. If I remember correctly, they were all diagnosed with schizophrenia. They were not sane at all, and they will never leave that mental hospital, except when they die. I always felt very sad for them, because they might not have committed murder if their family had gotten them psychiatric treatment when they first began showing signs of a severe mental disorder. In virtually every case, the people around them just ignored the signs of mental illness. They were having delusions about people around them wanting to kill them, hearing voices, hallucinating, etc., etc., but nobody addressed it until it was too late. As a whole, they were not violent people, but they were also being treated for their mental illness too, which made them stable. We had others who were very violent, and they weren’t there for murder. I really loved that job, and all the staff were great to work with. I’m retired now, and have been for a while, and it has truly saddened me to see what lows the medical establishment in America has sunk to. We’re not taught about the corruption, that’s something medical professionals have to learn for themselves. Medical schools feed their students the same Iies the public is fed. Those who take their oath seriously will leave their career before they participate in things that they know are harming people. Those who have integrity will put human lives above their paycheck. The last 2-3 years has shown how many medical professionals are in it today just for the money. I don’t trust any of them who are not taking a stand to uphold their oath. I’m sure it was corrupt before, but it hasn’t been truly exposed about how corrupt it is until recently. My heart goes out to the doctors and nurses who turned their back on their profession to take a stand for ethics in medicine, and putting patients first. I’m proud of them, but at the same time, I know firsthand how hard we work to have a medical license and career, and it’s a part of your soul in it. To walk away, even though it’s the right thing to do, it’s still a devastating loss. Most people went into medicine because they felt a calling to help people who are sick. At least, those I have worked with did. A few were obviously in it for the money, but the majority, back then, really had a passion for caring for people in need. I imagine it was like a a dagger to their heart to leave. But they made the ethical choice. God will reward them for suffering for the sake of righteousness.

Like for me in my research about murders and cold cases and such, I may google one or two of those questions, but not that whole slew of mess! There's no explaining away that. That was the craziest google searching in the history of murderers thus far.

I was married to a sociopath for 7 years. It was love at first sight, he seemed so perfect (at first) he was so funny and thoughtful. The FIRST “things to that make you go hmmm” moment was, his behavior would change drastically between friend group to friend groups. For instance, he would hang out with church friends where his core beliefs would change from hanging out with work friends. I don’t mean you don’t use profanity around work friends, but you might around a high school buddy. I mean, around church friends he would adamantly say childern shouldn’t attend public school but around work friends he would profess his support for public schools.
