- At the request of Max300frk, Macbeth from the old Star Fox. This level is easier than it looks and also one of the shortest in the game. It's fun and it has some good music. Not much else to say about it, though I have to say I hate the boss
Not to mention the music in this stage is quite fitting for the environment. Makes me think of a nice hot place. Like a steel mill or a volcano. After all, planet Macbeth appears to be a volcanic type planet.
It is partially a hollow planet used for mining facility but sadly seized by Andross. So it hot a rather humid place. Also that giant driller boss was fun!
Even after 17 years, this game still amazes me!!!
A good game with a good story, challenging levels, intriguing visuals, and an awesome soundtrack...plus one or two Easter eggs thrown in for good measure.
@@mquiroz90 vergon 6. (Futurama joke)
@@mquiroz90 yes, they try to save creatures from a planet that was mined hollow by humans.
Nice video!
This is my favorite stage and music on the game.
I like the fact the "hollow" noises add a realistic element to being inside the planet, but it overwhelms the music....as well as all the other stuff taking place.
This World is a pretty easy one considering it's last World of the 3rd Route before Venom. It's more about the Boss than anything else.
The sequel to “Killer Clowns From Outer Space” looks great.
Man this place is a sigh of relief after the merciless hellhole thats sector z
@TheNewerGuy Really. That sucks. The whole planet with a hollow core concept is a lot more interesting than what we saw of Macbeth in the N64.
the first time i played this level when i was a kid the music scared me all the level XD
"Pretty smooth flyin' , Fox."
Peppy: Watch your aim, Fox!
Watch your aim, Fox!
Watch your aim, Fox!
Watch your a-
Fox: SHUT UP!
"Watch your aim, Fox!!" lol that kept on coming up! it was funny
I love that level! The music was cool, but even though it was hard, I still like it.
MacBeth,.... My favorite level of the game.
so simple.........and so amazing
It's actually one of the easier bosses...
This video makes it look harder than usual.
I love how you can choose your path in StarFox. One of the very cool things about this game.
Greatest game ever made by mortals.
@JohnnyFruehauf
There's actually a moon in our very own solar system that's called Titania! XD
Uranus's moon, right?
The stage takes place WITHIN the planet. Hence why there are rock formations and volcanoes on the 'ceiling'.
So this is what Shakespeare's drama is about.
the most revolutionary game EVER!!! :D
hey buddy, I used your game play for a remix I did. Hope that isn't an issue I credited you in the info. If this is an issue let me know.
Well, I would have like Nintendo to redo this level in the newest Starfox, would have been cool
good video and song. Lets hope theres a wii game with macbeth zoness and all the forgotten levels that would be nice to play
Since you have objects hanging from the ceiling (and that corridor sound effect), I suspected that this was taking place deep underneath the crust of the planet.
It is
awesome level! Except the boss... those energy balls whirling around hit me almost every time.
I bet as soon as you see the map, this is the first planet everyone wants to visit.
Nostalgia.
Yeah, Macbeth is definitely one of the stages where you really have to know what you're doing.
still no virtual console
@XYZsquad This is supposedly in the core of the planet anyways, as you can tell by the fact that the ground and sky are the same. Macbeth is supposed to be a hollow planet just waiting to go nova.
@BusterBeetleX Because the planet is hollow. They are literally inside the crust of Mcbeth.
That was some good flyin'
Good flying there!
I guess you can say that...maybe... Like I said IMO, it's a complex planet.
Macbeth is was...a complex planet out of the whole Lylat System... Funny that there are two different verisons of the planet...
OK OK I can do this!! I can do this!!
"GOOD LUCK"
oh fuck oh shit I'm not ready!!
THE NEWER GUY!!!!!
SF64 Area 6 Quote: Destroy all THREE energy ballz!
such a sick level. I always hated level 3 path because of difficulty!
you're an ace pilot!
@ZeldaFoxi You might know by now, but looks like ZSNES 1.42 emulates improperly the game (The SFX Chip isn't emulated correctly), and thus, making it faster.
I always hated how it drowns out the kickass music this stage has.
The sound is even worse when a wingmate is on screen.
;_;
Kinds funny. If you think about it, Macbeth is a fucking awful planet to.build a base in. Sure it has a semi hollow layer of mantle, but it's also a molten volcanic hellhole. I'm sure the crust and mantle would be extremely unstable. Imagine if there was a catastrophic flood basalt event! Not trying to be a buzzkill. Just funny to think about.
@BillxMach
1. Wikipedia isn't accurate.
2. SF64 is CLEARLY a remake of SF1. I don't know where you are getting this idea, unless it's from the NP SF64 Player's guide, which called SF64 a continuation of the first game, even though that is false and a messup on NOA's part.
why is it so fast? because its NTSC? On my German PAL version or on Europe played on emulator SNES9x its much slower...
@@magpierandoms6272 Star Fox never get old.
TheNewerGuy rocks!
64 kicked so much ass
This level always gave me some trouble.
Hey, what emulator are you using to get the game to run so smooth? I always use Zsnes.
He was using a speed hacked version of the ROM.
well both of them had the Super FX chip. that's one clue
Still have mine for SNES and my nephew has the classic edition!
Macbeth is a hard version of Titania. Titania is pretty freakin' easy!
Why does Peppy complain about your aiming? Tell him that he could do a barrel roll!
Nice shooting.
the Forever Train from Star Fox 64 doesn't look like this
@somahiru ah ok
lol name?
This stage should be Solar and not Macbeth!
they didn't have solar yet. and macbeth is still a level is SF64.
You're not a real pilot using a computer to cheat and control the speed of the game. On the actual console it slows down due to lag but even then its hard.
+Matthew Guzman See how old the video is? Way back when, some SNES emulators had a problem mimicking the hardware speed limitations of games like Star Fox, so you'd often have cases like this where the game runs absurdly fast but the music and sound effects would be at the normal pitch and tempo.
Nowadays, there are better SNES emulators that can mimic the speed of the game almost perfectly - even to the point of mimicking moments of lag and slowdown (especially in the case of Star Fox).
Make what you will of it, but the guy's not a cheater. Considering he gets damaged throughout the run (especially against the boss) and making a few mistakes here and there, you can tell he was reacting as any human would (and not as a result of slowing the game down with an emulator so that he could play better).
You can overclock the real cartriged from 20mhz to 40 or 57mhz.
