Moose is extremely cute, but holy crap he is so friendly as well! Zero fear of strangers, just accepts love and purrs. Whoever socialized him as a kitten did an amazing job.
Moose is so cute! Fun fact- it’s actually not a cats fur or the amount they shed that causes allergens. It’s from a protein that is produced in their saliva that gets transferred to their fur when they lick themselves. Siberians are great because they underproduce this protein compared to other breeds!
Moose is so adorable!! I am also a cat mom so I know how fun and loving cats can be. I haven’t been able to be in the bathroom by myself since I’ve had them 😅 never knew how much attention they would actually want.

Omg please can you keep us updated on James and if he gets any reaction! I am allergic to animals but want a cat so bad but scared to take the plunge incase I still get a reaction and then can’t live with it. Very excited to hear it is fine for James so far!! ❤
OMG! What an absolute adorable kitten! I have two cats (brothers) that I adopted a few years ago from neighbors 2 doors down from us. I love and cherish the so much! I lost my wife of 25 years to cancer in Dec. 2020. They seemed to sense something wrong, and were even sweeter to me than before. I will always love them for that, and I tell them that every day. They literally saved my sanity after I lost my wife. Now I live together with my younger of two daughters, my two cats, and her cat who is a precious Maine Coon. I call him our gentle giant. He is absolutely sweet!. They come and go as they please in my room (the door is always open), and take turns sleeping with me (sometimes all 3 at once). They definitely show their love, and I will always appreciate and cherish them! I would love to see more videos of moose! I bet he is a very lovable cat now. It's amazing how he takes to strangers!
Omg Moose is so adorable! I have 2 Siberians myself as an allergy sufferer. I’m so happy I can have a fluffy cat and not have a reaction. The triple coat of fur is intense though, prepare for lots of brushing and butt fur trims.
Moose is so precious T_T i'm sure you've already double checked and I hope I'm not overstepping but it's always a good reminder to check if all ur plants are cat safe! sooo happy for you, makes me want to get another kitty :'-)
thank you for the reminder! i actually went through and got rid of the toxic plants right before moose came home 😇i do have one monstera that he doesn’t seem to care about so it’s still in the living room ~
It’s a law that kittens shouldn’t never be taken away from their mom until they are 14 (before it was 12) weeks. I know this video is pretty old but to all the people getting a kitten: NEVER UNDER 12 weeks!
8 weeks is the minimum, it isn't the best but it is acceptable with proper care. 11-12 weeks is better, 14 weeks is best. Remember, don't feel guilty if you adopted a kitten younger than 8 weeks IF YOU DIDNT KNOW or IF THERE WERE NO PARENTS AND YOU CAN PROPERLY TAKE CARE OF THEM.
So cute and going to be a big cat from the size of his paws. You’re going to have a hard time keeping him off of kitchen counters if you let him on there now - not fun if he jumps up there after using the litter box. 😮

I had a DSH "swirl" tabby. Cats have nine lives, so they should have at least nine names. My tabby was a robustly muscled "apple head." His initial name was "Anthony Rowley", but he was also called "Sgt Murphy" because of all his stripes, and "Little A," or "Aimless." "Cub" worked, and I also called him "Moose." Sometimes I called him "Scruffy'," or just "Pet." All these names were interchangeable depending on how he was behaving at the moment. "A" never got above 10 pounds but he gave the illusion of being a much larger cat because of the deliberate way he walked; he had the mannerisms of a jungle cat. When I was on my front stoop "Cattus" often sat beside me, and occasionally a passerby would notice him and ask it they could pet him. I jokingly told them, "Yeah, OK. But when you do, keep your free hand over your throat."
Kittens are so cute! I’m always tempted with more pets but I think I’m done for a long while after our senior kitty passes. 😢 They are a huge commitment.
I got myself a kitty 3 days ago got 25th birthday. Her name is HG and she's 6 weeks and super tiny. I can't wait to reach some milestones with her. She's definitely already climbed the stairs Even though I don't know how, she's so small 😭
fun fact when i first got my cat (perian ragdoll mix) i would pet him a lot when he was eating and now whenever i pet him he eats. This happens every single time so i dont know if this is just for my cat but yeah :)
Technically, there's no such thing as an "allergy friendly" cat as the allergens don't come from fur or the skin but rather from the cat's saliva, which, of course, goes over the fur since they lick themselves clean. The currently best way to keep allergens in check is to feet the cat dry food that binds them and therefore won't spread on the fur, minimizing the risk of allergy.

I am allergic to cats but my allergies went way because I had gotten some kittens and I would wash them like often and so my immunity got up and now I'm not allergic to them and I have 4 cats so my suggestion is get your cat used to be washed cause that's gonna really help him not be allergic. Cat danger what causes the allergy
