After using this lip oil for several times, I have to admit, that Clarins one has less staying power than Dior one. So it's a question of preference. I prefer to reapply it from time to time than having sticky feeling all the time. What about you? P.S. I started to use this oil as a lip balm, and I liked it so much, now I bought a shade Raspberry as well. Then I learned, that this lip oil will be actually reformulated! They claim, that the new one is not sticky, therefore I'm planning to purchase it in the same colour and compare them. Edit: I ended up ordering four shades of new lip oil (01 Honey, 02 Raspberry, 03 Cherry and 04 Pitaya)! Here is my swatch and comparison video! ua-cam.com/video/sg7-_MqzOHU/v-deo.html 😉
I have only 2 lip glosses as I much prefer lipstick. Sticky, goopy texture is not for me! Maybe I have the unpopular opinion: I would rather reapply gloss that is more slippery than wear a sticky gloss that lasts long. 😄 As always, your reviews are super thorough. I watched - super interested (even though I'm not buying makeup currently).
Thank you so much for your kind words, Ally! 😘💕 I totally agree! Slippery gloss sounds good actually. I probably can't buy any lip gloss for certain time, either! 😅
Hi! Another great video - thank you! 💕 Have you tried Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Lilac? It seems like a shade you might really like. I love applying it over lip balm for a soft berry shade. It really brightens up the face in a natural way!
Very interesting and thoughtful review. I looked her as Clarins offer the raspberry lip oil as free sample when ordering from their website, then I read another comment from a reviewer thre they prefer the Christian Dior one -which as you say is stickier so should have more staying power. i also note about 5 out of the 8 Sheer Clarins shade - 5 pH-reactive shades (03 cherry, 04 pitaya, 05 apricot, 08 strawberry & 10 plum) for a custom lip-stain effect. So I would really like to see difference of pH reactive v's normal, I will probably try raspberry and pitaya or something close to raspberry to see how pH effects shade. I have asian skin golden/medium so my lips are dark medium with slight brown too at out line and upper lip, so will be interesting how these shades cover different coloured lips. Thank you.
Oh, I also wanted to try Raspberry and Pitaya both! I have them in the cart, waiting for next sale! I wonder, if you know already, but I'm planning to make a comparison video of old and new formula. Thank you for your comment! 😊💕
Finally the shop started sale today, so I could order them! They will even add a sample of Cherry shade as well, so I'm so excited to show you guys three new shades! 😄👍
Aww, thank you so much for your kind words, Karolina! 😘💕 Although I'm not sure, how much my eating habit is related to my skin, but I actually eat clean. Which means I don't eat processed food, white sugar, gluten, vegetable oil and dairy. I also don't drink alcohol. 😊
Randomly finded your Chanel and subscribe and started watching it regularly because of your content. It is very good content keep it up you are doing great work 👍👍My favourite Chanel big fan of you waiting for your next video 👍👍👍👍👍👍.
Great review! Subcribed 🙂 I don’t know if you’re aware but I just saw on Trendmood that the Clarins lip oils are discontinued. They have been reformulated in new packaging, shades and ingredients. So sad. I own 4 of them and they’re my favourite lip oil! 😭
Thank you so much for joining me! 😊💕 Yes, I know, that they renewed the lip oil. I actually talked about that in my Empties #9, that I'm planning to compare the new one and the old one. The packaging, I already like less, but they said, it won't be sticky, so let's see! 😄

I thought that was nice of you to share how it pairs with lipstick too! The dot tip is helpful as well!
