such a great video, definitely deserves more views. I'm about to try to do it myself for the first time, love the wet floor trick. Wouldn't have thought about that
@@TheSlicedSock ive heard some paints can be conductive, can u recommend me some brands?i have a 6650xt gonn paint its front side only as back plate is for heat dissipation

Gran trabajo, quedó muy bonita, yo no pude usar pintura y usé vinilos de colores del EVA-01 en caja de PC y tarjeta gráfica, un saludo desde Toledo, España.
i plan on painting my gpu on friday, did you use primer? the spray paint ive bought states in the desc primer is not required, however a lot of people have told me to use it should I?
It would void your warranty, but this is a 3070 or 3060 gpu and probably had the warranty expired, do this on your own risk but not stupid if you know what you're doing.
Very clean job. I am glad you did. not paint over the sticker like some. I wonder why so many people say painting the fan will decrease airflow 😂😂😂 It’s just a little fan not a turbine engine.
yeah, kinda funny since the thing you shouldn't paint was heatsink fins! i never knew such case of Fan airflow broken because of painting(unless the paint job waa bad that it breaks the surface area making it less efficient by 5%,still negligible though) i mean even you can make 3d print fans and it would perform 95% of ideal mold design anyways
Light coats take longer but makes any piece come out so clean

Thx man I appreciate
I did the same with an AMD RX 550. I have a red case, and so I spray painted the CPU case red. It has no rear plate, so that was simple.
Nice !
Could you please give me the link to the spray paint? I just ordered a gpu and really like that white color! Thanks!
But remember opening a GPU will void the warranty

Probably better off just getting the vision fans, painting the fans wrong can lead to unbalanced fans
@@TheBlueBunnyKen yes i know but idk if they will work or if they are even the same 4 pin header or different

If you have the option to get different fans, just get different fans and get white paint to match the new fans
what spray can did you use? Like the exact model
I think it was Krylon paint + primer

Use a primer + paint can and you good to go
Is it bad to paint the top piece I have the same gpu
Bad no, recommended… no 🤫
What GPU is that:?

Never paint your fan fins.. it will damage rotation.. also increase fins weight.. and motor will warm soon.if paint is not uniformly dostributed..
Only critic when doing super noob friendly videos. Don’t do editing cuts , even if you don’t skip anything it just easier to follow out cuts
Fans are backwards but other than that very nice

Please do not do this it's stupid and will void your warranty if you want a white GPU just buy a white one
