I have an X20 Gen 2 and all I did was take out the old transmitter and luckily the Amazon transmitter had the same color wiring. So I took the old one out and put the new one in. And worked.

Used this remote for my trailer winch and it never worked properly because it will only run intermittent which is a bit frustrating. Never got it to work properly and nobody seems to have advice what could be causing this. Anybody ?
Funny you asked. I used it this weekend in my last video. Works just fine but I do take the batteries out of the remote if I'm not using it for extended periods so they don't corrode

I would check all your connections. Mine works fine
