No band has EVER blasted and rocked the metal world like Metallica! Epic musicians all the way! Y’all were born to rock! Roy has passed; but as I still here those early raging drives, time and again, I see Roy in his youth with me, cruising; having a drink, rocking our ass of and chasing tail! Y’all have been an epic part of my youth and I’m thankful for it. Keep
on being the bad asses that you are! Long live Metallica!

Mi vida❤ Todo un profesional break exacto ❤minuto exacto para deleitar❤lo amo ❤Gracias por tanto❤Bendiciones❤Viva Metallica❤
James sitting there with his stogie and tea has become this whole thing now lol
I like how in the midst of taking heavy fire on the front line he casually proceeds down in the trench for a shhhhhmoke and a pancake.
Shpliff n a waffle?
That's good candid footage.
Such a badass man. Living legends . To do what they do in 2024 is just pure badassery . Still kicking ass at thier age is so inspirational. Much love and gratitude.
reaction? Oh man, the flames again! A gig after gig all time the same 😊 Metallica army rules!
I can’t imagine… like… he’s just a dude, taking a quick break from work, grabbing a smoke, looks up to look at the clock to see how much time he has, no doubt stuff going on in his IEM…. Except he isn’t just working at a Taco Bell and watching the car come around and cut his smoke break short. He is about to just stroll up the stairs and play something that has touched so many and means so much to so many, I’m sure even himself. I wonder what that is like to be him in that moment. Does he see it as such or is it to him, “time to go play this song, I hope I don’t fuck up the solo tonight” type of thing. It’s not about the money clearly because they have done that. It truly is about playing the music you love and giving the fans what they want. Thank you James, Lars, Kirk, Rob, and Jason for all these years.
Dude's gotta' have serious PTSD from all that pyro going-off around him....
Haha, flashbacks to Montreal 1992.
@@brandonsimpson7418 Right! I can't blame him for getting the hell off the stage for this!
Till Lindermann from Rammstein deals with alot of fireworks 🎉
@@brandonsimpson7418 I was coming here to see if anyone else remembers and commented. That dude was seriously fucked up after that.
Good point😅
An artist's life is everything but easy. In this UA-cam short, you can watch James trying to relax a bit, even if it is for just a moment, because he seems to be under a lot of pressure and stress. And you should understand the reason for that: the members of the band have had to work pretty hard, for more than forty years, to reach the high levels of professionalism and fame they are currently enjoying at the present time.
lol
@@ev25zv Is that a reason to laugh about? I don't think you understand why artists, especially those who are as talented as James, have been capable of getting to the top of their professional career.
@@luiscoll2903 Lol. I've been around them on stage all my life. I know what it is and what it isn't, hence my response to you
@@ev25zv..., which makes me think why I consider that laughing about it is improper from your part. And now that I know your case, I would say you should show respect, or at least, that's what I grasped from your reaction, as I don't believe you have learned too much from all those years 'you have been around them on stage.'
@@luiscoll2903 What are you going on about? They play 15 songs each gig. Songs they've been playing for years, and they can all retire tomorrow and their grandkids' grandkids will be financially set.
It's a cake gig. The pressure was back when they were in the trenches fighting to be recognized. He's just old and tired is what you're seeing. Unless you've toured extensively on big stages like I have, which you clearly haven't based on the things you say, you should not speak on behalf of those who have
out here looking like a damn general going to battle. Casually strumming the most epic battle cry
Never meet your hero's. The illusion will be shattered forever.
Should never make your heroes people you don't know to begin with. That's on you and millions more that worship famous people.
Everyone is talking bout his face wifh the fireworks goin off .. im seeing PTSD.. remember he received 2 and 3 Degree from pyro at a show
That's what I was thinking. There's some history with those things and him. 🤘🤘
true
I was thinking the same thing.
Maybe that’s why he’s not onstage when the fireworks go off…
This right here. Sitting down and having a little smoke to calm his nerves before he goes back out after the pyro.
Getting himself psyched up for this song.
My man went to hell and back, and still kicking asses, i bet Lemmy Is proud of him up there 🤘
What hell?

As a chef, this is what a lunch break looks like.
If you're working lunch you're a cook

Will forever go down as one of the best Metal Bands to grace the earth.
Its like he's just in the break room... then goes back to work. Like hes a cashier at a drugstore.
A legendary cashier at a drugstore made for Metal Gods.❤🎉
I love James!!! He so awesome 👏
as a vet ive been asked by a couple friends and family members who know how much i love metallica how seeing this intro live is.... i absolutely love every second of it, its truly an homage in my eyes
The fact these guys don't have to tour anymore is gift to the fans
"I'm tired and out of breath, let me just have this cigar and I'll be ok in no time..."
Smoking is badass. If you don't smoke you're a bitch.
He doesn’t look tired, nor out of breath.
Just saw em last night. He never disappoints.
Hes so dam good lookin
He getting flashbacks from the early 90s
If they ever do a live Warhammer 40k movie, I think James would be an amazing Lion El'Jonson.
Too be in the music biz and still going on is a blessing
