I don’t listen to many bands, mostly uk grime, trap & drill etc (I.e. worlds apart from this style of music) ..came across Porches by accident & instantly fell in love with their music & music videos. These songs talk to my soul & the lead singer is my new hero
Aaron Maine - lead guitar / vocals Cameron Wisch - drums Kevin Farrant - guitar / vocals Maya Laner - bass station / vocals Seiya Jewell - keys ...and a big shout out to Harrison Fore - on the board !!!
great performance by Porches! I recommend checking out True Blue - its the bassist's band that has an EP coming out Feb. 21. I saw True Blue open up for Homeshake on valentines day
This is a masterpiece. They really should release the set as a vinly 10 inch ep or something, as it outshines the album versions of the same songs... by far. (And the album is great). Oh, what a machine... Also, is he an Idaho fan? I think maybe?
Okay, think I really like this and just saw that they performed with Frankie Cosmos who I just ordered 3 LPs of....I'm sure I would have really loved to have seen one of those shows.
Alan Peters she is! Her amp choices are great. I believe she uses ampegs, which produce a really beautiful tone that isn't too deep and enough to not overpower the drummer (who's also a powerhouse) and rest of the band. It's perfect for my taste.
Heard about these guys back when Fantano reviewed "Pool", but nothing he said in his review told me they were a band. It took me as a surprise to see this video lol, but I've been listening to that album ever since Fantano's review and been a fan. Really great!
That's how he acts. I'm not sure if it's the drugs or what (He gets high with Frankie Cosmos a lot). I went to his show on September 30th and my friends and I bumped into him in the streets. He was just a strange, nervous and awkward person to talk to. It seemed like he was physically there, but no one was home. He makes good music, but it just seems like his mind is elsewhere.
It’s crazy to look back. Porches is one of my favorites
Porches the soundtrack of my 2016'. Can't get enough!
Schulzbot Same just heard them this month, and im addicted
I've been listening to the new album on repeat. New starfucker tops it tho
This album is fire. Lowkey a sleeper album.
And this version of Braid is so good.
mine too

Listen to some early Red House Painters or Idaho to get some of these melodies.

Sound quality is top notch, as usual
I really like the way she moves. I dunno why
I know why....
idk if it'll get deleted bc of links but kinda reminds me of mac in this ua-cam.com/video/HWEBui2M-LI/v-deo.html
Mac is way more crooner like than these guys a little less alternative as well don't get me wrong I don't hate Mac or anything
This set is perfect

Damn near amazing

Maya is a killer bass player

Matthew Maduli you're exactly right
+Stop stealin g me thanks man 🙏
haha
If you replaces Braid with Shaver, or Be Apart; these would be my top 4 songs for Pool.
He looks and sounds exactly like John Malkovich :P
frankie where you at
Braid reminds me of Montreal by Roosevelt
the dude is extremely stressed
He's just like that. Watch some of his interviews
That's how he acts. I'm not sure if it's the drugs or what (He gets high with Frankie Cosmos a lot). I went to his show on September 30th and my friends and I bumped into him in the streets. Ronnie is super sweet but he is v soft spoken and shy I think. Just a v humble and small character but seriously talented and funny on stage.
word on the street in Purchase is that he's a total fucking asshole
i heard he played a show at someone's house and got wasted and peed in their clothes drawers
Not Rachel, Maya
Maya looking sweet 💜
rad
where is Frankie Cosmos?
Doing her own thing Maya has been in the band since 2015
Isnt the drummer in another band?
DAyum , dude looks burned out.
the chorus on his guitar is extra twinkly
I either need more drugs or less drugs??
Both
more and then less for a while, and then more
try for less
WHERE'S CHERYL?
if the salvation Army could throw up.. this is what it would sound like. Almost perfect.
Rachel
You sound like OK kay
da shit
rivergazer
The drummer looks like such a nice person but I'm not sure why
He is super nice. I've met him. He was also in a great band called zona mexicana
He's a cutie. Also it's nice to know he's as sweet as he looks :).
Did anybody else think this guy was Justin beiber from the thumbnail?
