I’m retired 5 years now. Certified Optician for 35 years. I found this presentation refreshing. Brought back memories of when I first started. I apprenticed for 4 years with an older Optician. The last 10-15 years I felt like I was working with salespeople only. They had no clue how a frame was supposed to fit. Nor how optics work. I ended up working with my own patients and referrals, and fixing other Opticians mistakes on the regular. I miss my patients. I certainly don’t miss the ineptitude of current American Optician’s or the Corporate consolidation of product availability. Thank you for posting your video. It has made my day.✌️
My second grade teacher Sister Rose Anthony, had a very calming effect on me just like this gentleman. Anytime she would come close to my desk, I would have this great feeling of peace and love. This man's peaceful energy is wonderful.
