LMAO "I am not going to let you drive out of here in an $18,000 vehicle with no line of credit, no deposit, no insurance and a utility bill that is past due."
hahahahahahaha! This shit is GOLD! I've seen that happening once but in Budget... I guess they work the same way. My favorite part is: "You are embarrassed to be seen in anything but a Charger? You rode here on the bus and have less than $243 to your name"
Very true , they all want the chargers because they think it’s a fast sports car , not realizing they are the base v6s that are just the bottom trim . I would always get a premium suv or fully loaded impala
I worked at enterprise for 5 years... I actually had dreams about these conversations. It was nice when I realized it was a dream and got to cuss them out as well. Lol
I work for ERAC in the snowbelt- this sounds like every rental deal in the city limits. I also love the people who come to the car sales department and want to buy a charger for $200 a month, bad credit and $0 down.
I took calls for enterprise and omg I can’t how many times I had these kinds of stupid customers on the phone I was like oh joy I ended up usually hanging up on them or finding someone else to transfer them to
lol we played this today at work and i must have had the first half of this conversation at least 3 times today! my favorite are the people who book for an ECAR and expect a free upgrade to PFAR because its snowing 100 miles away
Went through this same thing today at enterprise. I'm a salesman for AutoNation and understand the customer service business. I reserved a FULL SIZE SEDAN a few days ago and went to go pick it up today. I sat in the waiting room for an hour before I was told that the only thing available was a Mini Cooper and a 15 Passenger Van. I was then asked if a Nissan Versa would work. I don't know how enterprise employees are trained, but when I pay $400 for a FULL SIZE SEDAN, I want a FULL SIZE SEDAN.
You need a credit card because of a few reasons. 1. It contains all your information so we know who you are. 2. Its a fail safe in case you decide to screw them and people screw them constantly.
I've had this conversation so many times with a customer! 1st it's not a credit card 2nd you're electric bill says you're $800 behind (that's not an exaggeration) and 3rd I wouldnt rent anything above an intermediate to you because your risk level is thru the roof. If I did let you rent, I'd be banging on your crack house door a week from now trying to repo the trashed aveo you're letting your boyfriend's drug selling uncle drive.
I sell cars for a living so I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to (possibly) work for enterprise as a career change. I work at a decent size luxury car dealer so I had no idea what to expect for the "shawdow" at enterprise. The place was located in a strip mall;absolutely filthy. The entire location was about the size of my family room. The branch manager interviewed me while standing up and not giving me his full attention. I was handed off to the area manager who would confront me when he felt I didn't answer questions properly and seemed to be more concerned with attending happy hour afterwards. I can honestly say it was one of the worst interview experiences of my life. I will never go back.
I just had a terrible experience at Pau france Airport with enterprise, I read many bad reports about Eurocar there (who I normally rent from when in the EU; I had a damage waiver, but they kept going over the car, looking for something to get it up to its max value, then told me they would send a refund of what was left of my deposit if they found nothing else after I left. WTF? how is that legal, to find things after I have returned the car and left the country???
OMG! My best friend works for enterprise; evertime I ask hime about his day, he replies almost to a T of what was covered in this vid....way is the other bear brown....
I feel your pain. I picked up a customer just before we closed. It was dark and during a rain storm looking for a house when it turned out to be a pet hospital. The woman Begs me to take her to get her GPS 5 mins away. I get back to the branch 35 mins after we closed. It turned out her licience expired on her birthday the week before. Someone else got stuck taking her home the other end of town.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! this is so hilarious because it's so true. I worked at ERAC for 4.5 years and this was a conversation had everyday with more than a handful of people at the branch in KCMO. Working at ERAC is pure hell.
Are Chargers nice cars or something? The rental company gave us one to drive in Maui but I didn’t think it was that great. My moms Impala seemed nicer.
Unless a full size sedan simply isn't available. At which point you have not actually paid anything and are likely going to be offered a free upgrade or discount or something to try to help make up for the inconvenience at least at my branch.
It's not a black thing, some people are just stupid. Customers are always coming in unprepared or unqualified. But if that lady was given a chance to get the rental Enterprise(the employees at that branch) would be trying find her about week later. Some people just aren't responsible. Funny video
wow, i rent from enterprise every time i need a car, and they're always cool with me, i'm surprised any customer would actually act like that, but i guess there are idiot customers for every company lol
"I cannot count on both hands how many ways you do not qualify to rent a car" Greatest line of all time.
"You're embarrassed to be seen in anything other than a Charger? You rode here on the bus and have less than $243 to your name." 😂😂😂
I work for enterprise... Absolutely true
This is true, customers are clueless and don't understand the risks of having a rental car business
+Working ForYou (2Bfree) Plus they are a royal pain in the neck…Never thought anything could surpass customers that come to baggage service...
I just want you to know that this video still is and will always be relevant 😭🤣

LMAO
"I am not going to let you drive out of here in an $18,000 vehicle with no line of credit, no deposit, no insurance and a utility bill that is past due."
This is literally dead on accurate in 2021! Different year same conversation lmao
My area manager referred us to this during sales training. Freaking hilarious...and true.
Worked at ERAC in 1994. I see somethings never change!
Reminds me of avis people really don't know the difference between a credit debit card and liability insurance vs full coverage 😅😅
I work for a different car rental, my boss showed all of us this today at work. Too accurate!
My first job out of college. I quit after 3 weeks. This is 100% accurate. LOL
I've been renting cars for 6 years. Lol
@@natassjasliker7166 Rent me one
hahahahahahaha! This shit is GOLD! I've seen that happening once but in Budget... I guess they work the same way. My favorite part is: "You are embarrassed to be seen in anything but a Charger? You rode here on the bus and have less than $243 to your name"

I used to work at enterprise this exact fucking script happens at least twice a week AT LEAST! ROFL
I worked at enterprise for 5 years... I actually had dreams about these conversations. It was nice when I realized it was a dream and got to cuss them out as well. Lol
This was my nightmare for 4 years.... That which does not kill you makes your stronger.
+Johny Moondog Right there with ya comrade
I used to work at Enterprise and this is extremely accurate lmao
Every...single...day. I swear people don't understand adult thinking.
I love how the race of the characters is even on point. Buh buh buh BASED!!!
I work for ERAC in the snowbelt- this sounds like every rental deal in the city limits. I also love the people who come to the car sales department and want to buy a charger for $200 a month, bad credit and $0 down.

Words cannot express to you how accurate this is. I have this exact same conversation (without me cursing/being a dick) 3 times a week.
lol...I work at Budget and this is the same thing with all local customers.
As an employee of the company, this is literally so accurate
lol we played this today at work and i must have had the first half of this conversation at least 3 times today! my favorite are the people who book for an ECAR and expect a free upgrade to PFAR because its snowing 100 miles away
"Y'all got dat charga car?"
This is the single greatest, most accurate, and most relatable video. EVERY. DAY.
the dreaded 9.99 weekend special lol
I see you have a Porsche. Is that available for the 9.99 special?
That Porsche is not owned by the company.

boo fuckin hoo
whats wrong with a mini cooper?

2. Its a fail safe in case you decide to screw them and people screw them constantly.
i work here lol. this is giving me ptsd
LMAO she gotta have that Charger
I worked for Enterprise from 2007-2008. This is shockingly accurate.
Lol my life everyday.
Bah hahahaha Gah dam! My life dude. Every day. "Fine I trust you.." Rents car, car is now a conversion. Hahahaha
I've had this conversation so many times with a customer! 1st it's not a credit card 2nd you're electric bill says you're $800 behind (that's not an exaggeration) and 3rd I wouldnt rent anything above an intermediate to you because your risk level is thru the roof. I work at a hotel and this conversation is very similar to my daily interactions
The color of the "customer" is accurate.
I wish this video existed and had been seen by me before July 2010, otherwise I would have taken the managerial job with FedEx.
Had this convo twice today! Effin love it
"Lemme 'reservate' that"
I have seen customers in there acting like that!
This is our training video.
sounds like my my whole day at enterprise, it never gets old, lol
I just had a terrible experience at Pau france Airport with enterprise, I read many bad reports about Eurocar there (who I normally rent from when in the EU; I had a damage waiver, but they kept going over the car, looking for something to get it up to its max value, then told me they would send a refund of what was left of my deposit if they found nothing else after I left. BRUH I WORK IN THE HOOD CURRENTLY AND THIS HAPPENS 3 TIMES A DAY.
LMAO, OMG, this is hysterical. I used to work for Thrifty in Warwick, RI. Sounds like some of our customers.
Still accurate today smh
This is a perfect story of what I go through every day!!!!
Phillip in Colorado is soooooo great best rates♥️♥️♥️
OMG! My best friend works for enterprise; evertime I ask hime about his day, he replies almost to a T of what was covered in this vid....way is the other bear brown....
The question is .
Does it make a difference what color the bear is?
# even purple people are stupid.
LOL
I rented cars 2 times now with a debit card. They totally take that shit at Enterprise.
+Adam Jensen Not if its an airport location and you aren't flying back in to the same location.
the video did not say that they don't take debit cards. She did not have the required $243 in her checking account to cover the deposit embassy.
Disturbingly Accurate

Working at ERAC is pure hell.
I work for HLE and have dealt with far worse. I had a customer walk in and ask me if i had any 12 passenger ECONOMY cars for rent.....
So can I get 2-6 passengers economy cars?
Are Chargers nice cars or something? The rental company gave us one to drive in Maui but I didn’t think it was that great. My moms Impala seemed nicer.
Unless a full size sedan simply isn't available. At which point you have not actually paid anything and are likely going to be offered a free upgrade or discount or something to try to help make up for the inconvenience at least at my branch.
SOOO Amazing!! It's sad how true this is and how EVERYONE with ERAC has experienced it.
This has 4105 (S. Florida) written allllll over it. "AYE DO U HAVE A CHARGER? A CHARGER? I WANT A CHARGER?.....HOW BOUT A CAMERO?!?!" lmao
THIS IS SO FUNNY CAUSE IT IS TRUE THIS HAPPENS EVERY DAY
A regular Friday at the branch! That was fantastic!
I remember when this first came out sitting in the office with other Erac buddies cracking up.
This shit still destroys my sides every time. Currently laughing about it at enterprise...
this is my life every day
So True. Happens all the time.
True video. A lot of people act like that. I have that conversation daily
This might have been the funniest thing I've ever heard. Each and every friday this happens.
This is so accurate that it hurts.
This is my life in a nutshell. The universal truth of ERAC...
I work for Enterprise this is 100% accurate
Welcome to Thursday through Saturday in detroit.
Weekend specials, am I right?!
Then you clock out and drink a lot
Who made this and why am i watching it
truer words have never been spoken
i love this
The saddest thing is that there are more people who are probably crazier and more ignorant than that lady and have a drivers license.
It's not a black thing, some people are just stupid. Customers are always coming in unprepared or unqualified. But if that lady was given a chance to get the rental Enterprise(the employees at that branch) would be trying find her about week later. Some people just aren't responsible. Funny video
I do the same thing at Budget with all local customers lol

Who is here watching in 2021 and currently working for Enterprise? 🙋🏻♀️
This video is hilarious. It pretty much portrays 3/4 of the customer base of So. Cal.
hahahahaha!!!!! sooo funny! i almost peed my pants in the last minute and a half of the video!
Guess the race works on digital voices.
wow, i rent from enterprise every time i need a car, and they're always cool with me, i'm surprised any customer would actually act like that, but i guess there are idiot customers for every company lol
Unfortunately, every business gets its share of dumbass customers.
Lol!!! So hilarious!
