I always like to look online for recipes my family has and compare what others have. Ours has a lot of the same ingredients. Both types of corn. The Jiffy mix and the butter is the same. The difference is we add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 beaten eggs. Our recipe doesn’t call for cheese. I bake it until lightly browned across the top. In a casserole dish. Happy Holidays everyone!🎄

Awsome! I held the cheese out but added jalapeño (diced small can ) in the mix & css as me out great! (Not spicy at all just added a nice flavor & color )
Made this and it's so yummy! I did have to bake it for longer because hubby wanted it more solid but it was DELICIOUS! I literally don't even like corn and I couldn't stop eating it. 🤣
Looks easy. I'm going to add some corn chips to bottom of baking dish and mix in 1 lb of cooked sausage before baking first time. Adding beef chilli either with or without bean instead of just meat would also be good. Should be a worthwhile improvement!
I doubled the recipe. I baked it as directed but it was soupy. I baked it for another 15 and still soupy. I'm trying another 15. I drained everything. Is there supposed to be eggs in this recipe? Or does it thicken as it cools?
Some people put one tsp.of sugar and chop green onions along with the cheese.I never tried it but- I like it this simple way without the cheese and onions.I am going to try it for Christmas ❤️.
