The whole thing is WRONG. Why is a final 1 hour after the semis. When the semis is one dat after round 1. Makes no sense. No wonder world records are never getting broken. Secondly. Thet should have dried down the track..Thats basic health and safety. No way should an olympic 100m final be run on a wet track. It compromises safety and PERFORMANCE.
The Dutch Lead-off, Eugene Omalla, has an identical twin brother, Jamie. Their father is Ugandese, and they represented Uganda in the past. However, their mother is Dutch, and they requested to join the Dutch team, which happened last spring. Eugene considers Femke Bol a “once-in-a-lifetime talent”. Glad u guys finally posted. I was listening to Nightcap with Shannon pretending to be a track expert when he dont know what the F, he was talking bout!! Instead of just asking Justin questions, hes trying to make bold statements like he's an expert. When its very clear, someone wrote of facts for her on cue cards!!😂 Man talking about "the front end" of the race. Do u mean drive phase? 😂😂😂
Shannon run track, so he knows a little bit about it, it’s Ocho that doesn’t know anything. But you were right tho, he dominated the conversation instead of asking lots of questions and let Gatlin do his thing.
Keep in mind that the Dutch ran just outside the WR by .02 IN THE RAIN and very wet conditions. Under dry conditions, they might just break that wolrd record. We'll never know of course.
I genuinely do not understand athletics media. This is the Olympic Games. The 100m Olympic final is one of the most significant events in world sports. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is a worldwide icon and one of the athletics GOATS. And she wasn't able to compete in the Olympics 100m semi-finals because of a pathetic rule change and unreasonable security. And the athletics media response to this is... NOTHING. You don't give a damn. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ATHLETICS MEDIA???
As a fan, I really enjoy experts talking nice things about her, but if you see Femke Bol, how can you compare her to a James Bond villain? 😂 She seems like the sweetest person, better comparison would be Bambi 😂
Exactly, and none of the other premiere women's 400m runners were in that race either. I just think they mismanaged the rounds and didnt have enough left in the tank to overcome Bol.
I think Paris Olympics treatment of the athletes was wrong. From the ceremony, to the conditions in the Olympic village to the the events. From a psychological perspective this definitely will affect athletes minds and ability to perform well especially for athletes who are accustomed to super Olympic appreciation, presence and ambiance. I think this is what pushed the Jamaican athletes to withdraw. As a Jamaican, we don’t stand for foolishness. Shelly has her legacy to protect and she did the right thing. I am happy Sherika did the same. Elaine will join the two next year for World championships and we will see dominance again. So they give others the chance to achieve this year by bowing out gracefully Good move
I am trying to trace your discussion on how unfair it was to do lights out to men's 100, and not to women 100. I am a man but am surprised like what the heck didn't any of the Paris Olympics organizers see an issue with that? We would somehow pardon them if men 100 m was the last event of the paris Olympics inside the stadium. But that was too much disregard of women 100, more so when the men n women are sharing the same stage, same fans, same media coverage. The women 100 was quite exciting too. I believe Noah Lyles wudnt disregard a gold by Sha Cari simply because he can run faster than her in 100. And these women have massive following dammit. That was so cold to women champs
Deadmon did not hold his own and did not do good. He ran a half second slower than the heats. 44.7 from a running start?! They should’ve ran Quincy Wilson… the young man just ran 44.2 from blocks
People don’t know Shacarri had problems entering the event and didn’t warmup properly, not trying to make excuses but as a world class athlete they take they’re warmup and process very seriously, her demeanor was very different both days, one was very confident, the other one was very tight and worried

Noah did that thing
Proud of how Tia Clayton handled her race!
She ran really well in the semi, thought she was a serious medal chance.
Two things can be true at the same time. Heaviest moment ever & choking.
Aye. Hurry up. Fire up the live. We need you
What a relief. The big mouths don't run races, it is humility, respect, and other good things.
The big mouths? Who are the big mouths? I think the one who is best prepared, remains calm under pressure and who seizes the moment wins. The other stuff is debatable.
I’m thankful too 💪🏿 no big mouths
Gatlin you did the looking thing as well. In 2015 first round 👀
I would’ve rather seen the 16 year old Quincy Wilson and somebody other than Shamier Little on the relay, I think they hold her off then
Gentlemen, keep it coming.
Glad u guys finally posted. I was listening to Nightcap with Shannon pretending to be a track expert when he dont know what the F, he was talking bout!! Instead of just asking Justin questions, hes trying to make bold statements like he's an expert. When its very clear, someone wrote of facts for her on cue cards!!😂
Man talking about "the front end" of the race. Do u mean drive phase? 😂😂😂
Shannon run track, so he knows a little bit about it, it’s Ocho that doesn’t know anything. But you were right tho, he dominated the conversation instead of asking lots of questions and let Gatlin do his thing.
He knows alittle
Shannon used to run track. And so did and do most football players so it's not unusual to hear him talk about it.
Shannon Sharpe was on point. If you are a track fan, you can tell he is also a track fan.
Bruh Shannon lead with Justin’s opinions and kept it conversational, you and I must have watched an entirely different show
9.79: Wow Justin you psychic😳😂⁉ But Kishane beat Kishane 😕🙄with a bit of help from those starting officials😒‼
We standing up in lucia fr Alfred let the world know our lil island if she didnt already previously!!
Keep in mind that the Dutch ran just outside the WR by .02 IN THE RAIN and very wet conditions. Under dry conditions, they might just break that wolrd record. We'll never know of course.
And without their fastest man / team captain Leemarvin Bonefacia, who was out a hamstring injury.
Most definitely
Everyone run under the same conditions, so that can apply for everyone else too
I genuinely do not understand athletics media.
I am so hurt re. Shelly ann...
I believe shicarri and Shelly ann were living in private house outside of the Olympic housing..
That’s fine but that doesn’t excuse you from getting there on time.
They were on time, but there was an unannounced gate change.
As a fan, I really enjoy experts talking nice things about her, but if you see Femke Bol, how can you compare her to a James Bond villain? 😂 She seems like the sweetest person, better comparison would be Bambi 😂
@justin why was Kishane shown a green card ?
BIG UP NOAH LYLES.
From y’all cousins in the Caribbean
Why would you be concerned about adding Sydney to the mixed relay team when the existing team just broke the world’s record?
Exactly, and none of the other premiere women's 400m runners were in that race either. I just think they mismanaged the rounds and didnt have enough left in the tank to overcome Bol.
😂😭Every time I see Shamier I’m like “Hey Shamier”😟😔
Femke is just a experienced warrior who knows what war is. #simplyput
Not being able to get to the warmup track is some trash. Shoutout to Femke and Julien
Shelly and Jackson have injuries do not blame it on the new stadium or France
Americans will have to produce phenomenonal talent to challenge the present crop of international talent.
Any chance y'all can talk some other sports as well? Loved the bit about Lebron not winning any more chips.
Go with what you know!
Deadmon did not hold his own and did not do good. He ran a half second slower than the heats. 44.7 from a running start?! They should’ve ran Quincy Wilson… the young man just ran 44.2 from blocks
It might not be no 4x100 if those officials keep playin dirty
🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🥇🥇
People don’t know Shacarri had problems entering the event and didn’t warmup properly, not trying to make excuses but as a world class athlete they take they’re warmup and process very seriously, her demeanor was very different both days, one was very confident, the other one was very tight and worried
Warm up or not she wouldn’t win julien
Femke Bol was ready for a view of Sydney's back!
I think it’s time for Sydney to go 400 flat where there’s actual competition, there’s nothing else to do in the hurdles.
When was the last time Jamaica did not medal in the women's 100m Olympic games?
Seoul 1988
I would like you guys talk about my favorite American athlete, Gabby Thomas. Can she win the 200?
UP TOP JUJU !!!!, ST LUCIA BIG UP YUSELF , UNUH DESERVE IT✊🏾🕷️🔥🔥🔥🔥
