I appreciate the value this podcast brings. Justin displays a great producer's mindset in his analysis and ability to articulate his vision, effectively. A unique blend of being a superstar in his field, but grounded enough to realize what great storytelling would embody for the common/casual observer (such as myself). Rodney brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the sport, in depth takes/critique and a sense of humility that allows him to remain an enthused fan of the guests brought on or spoken of, in spite his own professional accomplishments.
    Continued success.

Sprint 2 was fine but you’re right. They missed an opportunity to tell more origin stories. Especially, since we already knew the results.

33:13; BAH unfortunately couldn't afford to host World Relays again & some upgrade work is being done to the Nassau stadium IIRC. With World Indoors in China as well as the first couple of DL Meets (Xiamen & Suzhou) plus a WA Continental Gold Level Tour Meet in Beijing, looks like WA decided to also let China host '25 World Relays with the hope/expectation that a load of athletes will basically set up camp in China in the early part of the season to be able to attend all of those meets. The LA GST Meet is on the same wkend as the NY Grand Prix Meet!
44:28; 26yr old Alica Schmidt (52.07 PB) has never broken 52s in the 400m. After Paris OLY, she ran her 1st Pro 800m race (2.05.22) then about 2wks later ran her 1st Pro 600m race & finished 3rd (1.24.88) in the same race Mary Moraa ran her 1.21.63 WR in which has convinced her to move up to the 800m to see if she can at least run sub 2m which makes sense. Not expecting her to be competitive against the 800m specialists but being a 1.59 800m runner looks a little better than being a 52s quarter-miler! That headline has been sensationalised for clickbait as there's literally no quote from her personally calling out any of the top 800m runners.

You also have to consider that the athelets shared what they wanted to share. So if Gabby kept her life private, which she has always done that's what they will show. Same thing with Fred, he just wants us to know the track bit.
Also there were only 4 episodes and had to pack a lot in a few episodes, so I understand them editing out a lot. It's enough for non track athelets to follow them.

He just won the triple crown at the world championships (100,200,4x100) and then won the Olympic 100m, so at that point he’s on top of the world doing something only 2 other men have done. But the young man won gold and a bronze at the Olympics. Sounds like a great accomplishment.
