    The King and his Kingdom perched on his limestone throne. Absolute beautiful forest. I was never aware that Arkansas contained so many beautiful tree forests. Visiting there would be a treat.

    Best video yet! However, I did get a cramp in my calf watching it...😉

    One of the best views in all of Arkansas! After backpacking the Flatside Wilderness section of the Ouachita Trail, the view from Flatside Pinnacle is what led me to section hike the entire OT. Another good one, Mark.

      I am going to have to agree with you on one of the best views. Video and pictures don't do it justice. It's one of those views you just have to experience in person to really appreciate it. Thanks for watching Chris!

    Wow! Such a beautiful place. And you did such an incredible job filming. At first I was wishing that I was there with you to enjoy it. But you gave me the next best thing by just taking me along. Really enjoyed it. I look forward to your next one. I am heading out this week myself to Western North Carolina close to the Smokies on some national forest land boondocking. Take care and be safe out there.

      It was the best vista view I've seen so far in Arkansas. It was surreal getting to the top and looking out across the Ouachita Forest. Beautiful scenery from up top. Have fun on your adventure, and you also stay safe out there!

      Thanks Tracy. I'm thinking my motorcycle will greatly aide in exploring the desert when I head out there beginning of next year. It's been great having it, especially exploring Arkansas's National Forest's gravel roads. LOL

      @@DispersedCamperMan That is a good plan Mark. You will be able to see so much more of the desert that way.

    I live fairly close to that area! The first time I scaled the pinnacle and saw the valley beneath I was floored. Videos and pictures just don't do it justice.

    I am heading to Flatside Pinnacle Mopuntain today. Started my trek three weeks ago from Pennsylvania to Florida, to Georgia, Tennessee and arrived in Arkansas yesterday. Thanks for your vudeos and coordinates.

      @@DispersedCamperMan I camped there for three nights - great weather. I camped at your site - your coordinates brought me right to it.. Hiked up to North Fork Pinnacle and Flatside Pinnacle. Riding the ebike on the gravel road is fun - both danerous and exhilerating. Overall, it was good solitude and healthy - wouldn't haver been possible without your video and coordinates. In about two weerks, I'll use your coordinates in Arizona. Thanks again.

      Congrats on your RV! I bet you are excited. My only advice is while traveling, take it nice and slow. Slow down and enjoy the journey to your destination. Looking forward to your first upload on your channel. Thanks for watching! and good luck!

      We only have black bear in Arkansas. They’re very shy and u rarely see any.

    Hey, mark, does lake sylvia have cell signal ? Just east of Flatside pinnacle.

    • @DispersedCamperMan
      @DispersedCamperMan  4 роки тому

      Cell service is spotty at best driving in that area. This camping spot where I stayed at had excellent cell service. Other places around there, not so much. ua-cam.com/video/cqgvyqBZ6Tw/v-deo.html

    Even a "moderate" climb in Ouachitas will humble your ass.

    That was not a deer blowing at you , it was a deer farting at you

    • @DispersedCamperMan

      @DispersedCamperMan In 18 years, I have yet to see a bear in the Ouachita forest. I've even slept with food by my head in my tent just to meet a bear 🐻. No luck . I guess I'm scary to them 🫣🤪

    😎 looks cool, love the drone!
    I could do .2 miles up hill!
    But whoever makes those signs , always lies...
    "How much further?"
    " mile , mile in a half, tops!"🍻

    • @DispersedCamperMan
      @DispersedCamperMan  5 років тому +1

      LOL This hike actually was 0.2 miles. I kinda wished it was longer, it was way to short of a climb.
