- "The Raven" 1976, from The Alan Parsons Project's Tales of Mystery and Imagination album. I own a physical copy of the song, but Alan Parsons holds all the rights to the song and album.
I will be doing more videos such as this, so subscribe and check them out! I will take requests if any are asked for.
Hauntingly beautiful.
So true. Ever loved this...
Thanks, great Edgar Allan Poe.
Well done, Alan Parsons Project.
Brings back a lot of memories. For some reason I can hear this being used in a montage sequence for some movie.
Monster dog
Alan Parsons = genius
The genius was Eric Woolfson, all this music came from his mind.

I can not decipher this song????? Help please?
It's a reference to Edgar Allen Poe's poem "The Raven." Look that up for more information because I have no idea what that poem is about 😂
@@willcole1450 lol.. me neither.. thanks peace ☮️
In mythology the raven represents a spirit messenger, usually to inform you that you are "nevermore" (your time is up)
Hi, I know it's been 10 months but oh well!
The poem is about a man that is severely depressed, mourning the loss of his wife, and everyday before he sleeps he has random lapses of insanity and talks to his dead wife in a "spiritual manner"
Then one day, at midnight, he hears someone at the door, when he finally decides to open he is greeted by a Raven, the man, intrigued by the bird starts asking it questions, but the only answer he gets is "Nevermore", leading the man to go even more insane and get even more depressed, as the crow appears so above and beyond the man's mental state and situation.
I highly recommend giving the poem a read, it's super short and interesting!
Tobsen mag das
