After trying after a buck on camera since the start of September and one missed shot at him Wednesday night at 5pm I finally got him a 20 inch wide 8 point thanks Lee for all the videos that got me into bow hunting.

i’m looking to get into archery hunting what is a good beginner compound bow to start with
go with something top of line. anything less can leave you disappointed and discouraged. if money an issue get a used one.even a 10 year old mathews will be better than a cheap box store package.

Question, as a new white tail hunter, what was the whole sniffing thing about at 18:43? insinuate that the decoy see's the buck and can smell him?
It’s called a “snort-wheeze”. All deer can/will make that sound, but in this context they want it to seem like the decoy is making his presence known to the real buck. Basically making it seem as if the decoy is asserting his dominance. So that the real buck will come assert HIS dominance by attacking the decoy.

You should try hunting Nh it’s the hardest place to successfully hunt a mature whitetail buck in the us
