Never been a godly man just wasn’t brought up that way but after watching y’all for the last few years i have taken some of yalls advise and have takin the time in the blind during them dark hours to think and thank the big man for providing all the great things I have in life. I hope y’all read this! I was raised in church. I’m a strong believer but I’ve fell backwards with going to church like i should. Sunday is my only day off and i find every excuse to say i just wanna rest I’ll go next week. But when i just watched this man have a 180 inch deer on the ground and he left that deer there to make sure he spent time with the creator. You just hit me right in the heart with this. I just realized my priorities aren’t where they should be. I wouldn’t of left that deer like he just did. So i know I’m not where i should be. But you can bet your bottom dollar i will tell a diff story come next week. Awesome awesome video my brother. The most powerful part wasn’t the kill. It was him leaving to go to church. None of this is possible without the man above. And he just spoke to me through you guys! Thank you for that.

I have great respect for a man that would leave a buck like that to take his family to church! Words can’t really describe how I feel about that! I’ve been a hunter all my life and I started back to church in 2005 after way too many years of turning my back on God. I’m literally in tears thinking about him walking away from a deer i could only dream of killing. To go church, it was like god just slapped me right in the jaw and said ya see son this is following me. I don’t have words to describe how powerful that was.
Yeah and if he would have just went and recovered it the night before like he should have he could have done both and not wasted the meat.

Watching this video and seeing Kindle be so ready to go to church solves what I have been debating. Being 16 I would rather hunt then go to church. I have realized now that if I really start putting God first in my life again I will have a great season. Season starts tomorrow and can't wait. Thank you guys so much for sticking with it!!!!

That lack of penetration is with a hit in that location is why when I managed a commercial bowhunting lodge we didn’t allow mechanical broadheads. Fixed blade broaheads don’t have as much of a chance to deflect upon impact.
Amen! Killed a doe last weekend. She wasn’t huge but my slicktrick when THROUGH the spine, 1 lung and severed the artery to the heart. She went maybe 20 feet.
@@Insubordinate1204 i shot my first deer with a bow the other day with a swacker 2 in and I hit top lung spine and it dropped her
So broadheads that have the blades that extend on impact deflect more than the other kind?
They definitely are more prone to it

Thank yall for what yall do. I grew up in ga and now I drive a semi so I'm very rarely able to go to church or hunt so being able to watch yall I'm able to stay humble and it keeps me thanking God for all I am able to have and the time I have to hunt when I can
I just got into urban hunting and seeing what y’all do just makes me more proud to be an archery hunter in the making… Haven’t had chance to harvest one this year but hoping I can by the end of the year! God bless y’all in everything y’all do for the hunting community!
You got to have one of the best hunting shows out there you show the truth and the struggle and all the work required on hunting big bucks unlike other hunting shows that just show the hunt and kill of the animal and filled with ton of ads keep up the good work and can’t wait for new episodes to come out

Yes banana spiders have been super crazy. I ran into maybe 2 in 2019-2021. This month getting ready for the season I’ve ran into at least 6.

That is so awesome. Coyotes got to him but that's what we go through as being a hunter and we take the good with the bad. The thing is yall did right backing out and stayed with it and got the reward of a great buck. Congrats guys

Glad u found it. Big reason I built a higher FOC arrow and stopped shooting mechanicals.
Happy you found him, but that's why you shoot a heavier arrow and fixed blade. Should have got an easy pass through with that shot. Make a for a lot less stress.
One problem you had with penetration was using a mechanical.
The other was probably arrow weight. When you see a mechanical stopped buy a rib like that it's telling.
Agreed. I shoot a Slick Trick Magnum (125gr) pushed by a 352gr arrow (477gr finished weight) out of a 62lb Bowtech and rarely don't get a pass thru and an inch or two of dirt on the other side. Expandable head/light arrow combo is overrated in my opinion.
I can’t believe these guys are still shooting mechanicals with all the info out there about how terrible they are with penetration.
@@00_ELECTRICWIZARD_00 you have to remember that they are often hunting smaller tracts of land and can't risk the deer running for hundreds of yards. Even with a great shot , a deer shot with a fixed blade could run for a while. I used grim reapers and have always had a full pass through and watched the deer die within eyesight

I've always enjoyed watching you guys. Being a hunter from Hampton GA, just south of atlanta. And have above all liked how y'all have never hid your faith. But when he ran from a world class buck he lost over sleep over and just found to make sure his family got to church on time. That shows true faith and where we should all be in our beliefs no matter what they are.
Man the things I’d do to meet you guys and especially go on a hunt with you all! Just great down to earth Christian men, keep up the good work guys!
