Some good info there Dave on water contaminants. I'd never consider drinking 'fresh' water without treating it first - it's just not worth the risk. Thanks for the upload.

Colonization resistance is very important, meaning you have to get used to drinking water in open areas. Although much polluted these days by people and then filter will be wise for sure.
