I know it’s a cabin in a state park -- and I did live in Florida for 9 years and can tell you the summers are brutal- but you didn’t mention if there was a/cor not - or did I miss that part - but thanks for the great review
Thanks for the comment. I don't know if I mentioned it or not either. But, yes, the cabins do have an AC/Heat Pump and gas fireplace. I am a true Floridian for some 55 years now and yes, the summers are brutal, especially in that part of Florida, (Ocala).
This is where the numan originally was spotted 20 years ago,the Ocala national forest,my great grandfather told me the numan would eat dogs in one bite ,the dogs would go after him and then total silence and no dog to be found,one right after the other,now he’s been spotted al around parts of Florida,I think there’s many of them.now that is something scary !!!
The Numan is a huge problem here in Florida. There is an active effort by the State to trap and kill them. This was after residents complained so much because all their pets were starting to disappear. I understand that the Numan was also spotted in Washington State. It's been said that the Numan was responsible for the disappearance of DB Cooper after he parachuted from the Boeing 727 with the ransom money. I have never seen one myself and hope I never do.
10630390 my uncle is a retired policeman and he told me they trapped one once and he ripped the trap to shreds and the tree that it was tied to was ripped clean out of the ground,this animal or whatever it is,is nothing to mess with,the word is no one wants to have any contact with it at all,and the law knows there’s more than one !
I've never heard nor have any idea what a numan is. I've been in S. FL for almost 25 years but in recent years I have been able to explore more of its natural resources. There's so much to see & do. Thank you for the video.

Love Silver Springs’ cabins. Go every year and can’t wait to go again next October. Reservations won’t be open until June, though, due to COVID.
How close is it to the river? Would it be possible to poach a infant rhesus monkey from near the cabins?
