jake is forgetting that teacher's have a curriculum they have to follow. That's usually guided by the state requirements. The teachers don't have control over what type of material they teach students. I found this out my junior year in high school. We have to blame the state requirements for making stupid learning requirements that we don't even need. He's blaming the wrong people and that's pretty messed up. If it weren't for my state requiring us to learn useless stuff, we would've been able to learn how to get a mortgage or pay off a loan. Hell, I had to learn about banking and a checking account by myself by opening up my own bank account. Since school didn't teach me anything about finances.

These are some of her more memorable moments:
1. Put our entire class in detention because some one raised their hand and asked for help.
2. Raged when we talked ‘loudly’ and threw the textbook at the table while screaming.
3. You know when teachers just sit there and wait for you to be quiet? She sat down at the start of the class and waited for 30 seconds then went on her laptop and basically waited for us to be quiet for 45 minutes (the whole period) she didn’t even tell us to be quiet, she just fucked off for the period basically.
4. Repeatedly said ‘she doesn’t yell and work’ for her then 2 MINUTES later shriek like a fucking dinosaur.
5. Called a kid demented and stupid.
6. Screamed at a girl in Italian, which people tried to translate but they didn’t know all the words she was saying and she was speaking really fast.
7. Said bye and walked out of the classroom and never came back again.

Him talking about wishing he learned about tax in school reminds of how when I was in high school in one city in Los Angeles county my school gave seniors the option of taking “senior math” where they basically teach how to balance a check book figure out taxes and other math things that you’ll use in the real world and I thought that was just normal for all schools everywhere until I transferred schools(different city same county) and people at my new school had no idea what I was talking about and the wishes the school I transferred to had senior math. so I'm someone that went through 3 different secondary schools (Middle school for USA) experiencing both heavy consistent bullying at the first, fighting and getting slacking in my second, and then the third.. drugs and lots of friends, by that 3rd school not only had I gotten myself a multitude of bad drug habits but I had noticed who got bullied, who the bullies were, and I put my effort into being friends with everyone, pushing back the bullies off the bullied, not judging anyone, excepting all and I became this sort of middle man, from knowing both side of the stories, there's always a meaning behind somebody's actions. But it doesn't make it right, if you notice someone getting bullied at your school stand up and show people that its not ok but make sure you don't pick a specific side, just do your best to watch over your peers, because bullying effects people in the deepest of ways

For those of us who aren’t internet famous getting an education is the best way to get rich. Unless you’re crazy talented in some other way like singing, athletics, or something else the only way to make a lot of money is to get a good job. And you need an education for that. And even if you are talented you should still get an education because stuff happens. Athletes get hurt, singers mess up their voices, and UA-camrs become irrelevant. Things happens. And an education is always a great backup plan for life.
