I have to give the Hughes brothers their props... this is the best period piece on the 70s ever. From the wardrobe, score, filming locations, cinematography, directing, etc... this film has aged so well... straight up classic.
Desmond this movie is based on a true story and a book I read the book it’s pretty accurate I’ll say just a little Hollywood lol but it’s pretty spot on all this happen in the book but it doesn’t end when he goes to prison it continues on it’s really a good book I would read the book after watching the movie you’ll understand it better

They changed places years later: Kirby had to pull Cowboy off Anthony when he was kid. Now Kirby had to stop Anthony from killing Cowboy as a man. Tables always turn. (Edit): I also just noticed the similar shots they did to parallel the scenes. They even in the exact same positions just reversed. Anthony finally got his revenge.
