Until I started listening his album (in 2018) and let me just say that he is up there with Gambino and Ye for me. Wolf is my favorite Tyler Album.

It's really cool to see how much different his tone is live. In his music he tries to be a lot more serious and emotional and sometimes even dull. But it's clear that to him his performances are a lot different than the normal song. The songs are about the emotion, but he's jus trying to hav fun on stage.

Childish Gambino to me was not really following a path, I know he is insanely talented but I really wonder when he would outgrow his old mold. At some point he was seriously just a hipster. I first heard of him 4-5 years ago in 2011 and at that time drake was really the one establishing the singing/rapping tone. Drake sound was soft and I feel like childish really took a leap toward that style. Here, 3005 is a really manufactured sound, a buzz track that he probably had to do for a label. But from the last few videos that I have been watching Gambino, I am seeing an artist that is trying to be something original and has attracted quite a number of followers. I wish the best for you Gambino, and I am feeling something from the new beard you are rocking, I know your next album will defintely be something worth the wait.
