I followed you step by step, 1 time - all installed and now I have Catalina MacOs on
HP 15 cs0103tx - Core i7 8550U [8thGen]
12GB 2400Mhz DDR4
120GB SSD - I connect via ethernet cable.
However there were issues like cannot brighten the screen, loading YT videos seem laggy and trackpad. I will go with your other links

Hi. Thanks so much for the video but I am having a problem. I followed all your instructions to the letter but after formatting internal ssd of my HP zbook, and pre install, when it boots back up it only sees the USB installer but not the apfs drive. I have tried checking it in disk utility and it can see the ssd but when booting, clover doesn't see the preinstall of apfs drive. Kindly advise

Could be due to desktop issues, but I tried to do this on a desktop, and it keeps getting stuck at "End RandomSeed," and I have no idea what to do about it.

Agian, this could just be because it's meant for hp laptops, but the only hp laptop I have is an hp stream. 11 and the charger port melted.

Hi, you can install it on your computer but I’m not sure if it will work or not. I don’t use Xcode so I don’t know how it would regularly perform. Although, I have heard that you need to have a more recent version of Catalina than 10.15 for Xcode to work. But first just try and install it and if it goes well and Xcode isn’t working, then you can update your hackintosh in system preferences, which I don’t really recommend you do because you could run into errors later. I have updated my hack before and it worked fine but it all comes down to each persons specific computer.
Transmac gives me an error (Drive too small) I've tried different 16gb USB drives with the same results, Sandisk, Kingston and I don't remember the name of the 3rd one

@@FemiOjeyemi I installed Yosemite to my usb drive since it was intel and and compatible, the only thing is that it can’t detect my usb on UEFI mode but can detect it on Legacy mode

@@xXJakerGamesXx Yes the fix was that I missed the step for that USB efi thing. TBH its not worth it to install mac on windows laptop you'll face many problems.

not working for me. the USB does not boot.. the command line just says "CHECKING MEDIA" and then windows starts up.. the USB is not booting.. followed the correct steps. wrote macOS catalina on USB using transmac (latest one now)

Go Reinell If you want to keep your existing files and everything intact, I don’t think that’s really possible as you’d have to update it from your system preferences, which isn’t a good idea because somethings can go wrong and your system could be bricked. So only do that if you are willing to risk losing your files. However, the other way I know would be to install Catalina as I did in this video, which is wiping your drive and installing the OS afresh. Those are the only ways I think and know how to upgrade to a different version of MacOS.

@@perropequeno3966 no you don't have to install it on an external drive, I just installed mine on one. Install it wherever you want.

Thank you! I think you should be able to install it on both computers. It will be mainly the specs of each laptop that will determine if macOS will run smoothly.

I have Windows 10 Installed currently and I want to dual boot Hackintosh. I want to know if everything will be working perfectly, like the drivers, battery, Wifi, etc. Also, can I delete macOS and reinstall Windows 10 or Linux in the future?
Hi Samay, yes you will be able to install Mac OS. Not everything might work for you, everyone’s hardware is different, so you can’t be sure if everything will work for you right off the install.
If you some things don’t work after you install, you can try to fix each of them one by one manually.
Also you can delete the entire macOS and reinstall windows anytime, just make sure you have a windows installation thumb drive handy.

If you have an intel WiFi card, you might be in for luck. I just released a video on a trick to get WiFi working in Catalina for intel WiFi cards. It’s not a permanent and stable solution, but it works.

Can I install mac on a laptop hard-drive that already has windows. Maybe format the hard-drive during installation... If not how do I wipe or delete windows from my laptop hard-drive entirely?

VICTOR EJIOFOR you can format and install macOS on your already existing windows hard drive in disk utility when you boot from your usb installation disk. But once you do so, there is no going back as your windows os and files will be gone. So backup your data to be safe.
VICTOR EJIOFOR maybe you didn’t set your bios settings properly. Go into your bios and make sure that legacy mode is turned off and then turn on uefi mode, also disable secure boot if your bios has that option. Then under device boot order, you can set your usb drive to boot first or you can boot manually from it by selecting the drive from wish you want to boot from when you turn on your computer(different laptops have different ways of doing so). But even after you try everything and it’s still blank, try flashing the Catalina dmg file to your usb drive again.

Wow... sorry about that. Do you have a windows 10 install setup on a USB drive? And also, did you partition your hard drive to install macOS. I advise you to install windows on another drive. Windows and macOS don’t go together and sometimes they can corrupt each other.

Hey when booting from the stick and choosing macOS in the menu, it get's stuck with "Too many corpses being created" which repeats in a loop. Any idea what the problem might be?

Albert Owusu Thank you! I guess you’re also having the same problem some people have asked me about. It shows some lines of code after trying to boot from install Niresh Catalina but some lines of code run and it fails.
I really don’t know what may cause it but from what I’ve seen it may be because of some issues you need to correct like:
1) making sure the date/time in your bios is correct
2) being connected to the internet via Ethernet if you can
3) rewriting the Catalina dmg file to your usb flash drive
4) turning off fast boot or the hibernate feature if you have it turned enabled in windows
5) turning off secure boot and legacy mode in your bios
It could be a number of things, these are just some things I’ve seen people with this issue talk about on the internet.
It might also be your cpu maybe isn’t compatible with Catalina, maybe try installing Mojave or the older versions.

Yes it should work on 10th gen chips, but nvidia cards aren’t supported in macOS.

It depends, older systems may not be as compatible as newer ones with newer processors, but you can try it to see if it works for you. Just be careful and make backups.
