Over the years I have repeatedly came back to this jam. It's just a perfect mix of everything. Demo 4 is my personal fav, it just tickles the ear just right
This was playing in the background and I went to see what was playing. I assumed my IDM playlist on Spotify. Then I saw it was UA-cam... then I saw it was a live set. Entirely modular... then I pooped my pants and sold all my gear.
whichever oscillator is providing that ultra-high pitched voice, I freaking love it, really gives it that early 00s idm vibe to the overall tone, amazing
This jam makes me both extremely happy and hopelessly crushed because it's so incredible and satisfying to listen to yet incomprehensibly complex I'll never possess the knowledge to create something like it on my own. (There's also the financial drain too..haha)
I would love to see a video from you about both the Maestro and the Chainsaw. The Chainsaw is a ludicrous sounding module that has deep patching its interface doesnt give away. The maestro is something I have been looking at as a partner to pams so....
that trusty setup on in the bottom rack has been fueling a lot of jams ;) the chainsaw and bia and LIP are a great combo! also I cant find a steppy anywhere :(.....
Rene into shifty. Send a slow as heck clock into Rene, like half notes or something. Pick a note progression on Rene that's melodic. Hocket that out with shifty and send fast gates to trigger the voices with their own rythm.
@@RedMeansRecording I only understood half of what you were saying, even after chedcking out Shifty (for the first time, I tought I knew most modules by the big manufacturers) .... have to read this a few more times ... but thanks a lot!
These are super inspiring and I always come here when I’m looking for ideas to jumpstart a patch. However I couldnt make it through the first jam since your STO was painfully flat 🙈 Not sure if it was tuned flat or wasn’t tracking properly... just a heads up!

Back again 3 years later to enjoy this once more ! 😊

Demo 4 sounds incredibly good to me
every single time I watch you play I instantly have to go into my synthcave and have a blast. I do watch you play alot.
Super nice bia hats.
I liked them all but, Demo 3 is freaking great!
Your getting good at this! Best one yet mate. Happy holidays :)
Wow, killer! Your 2nd chan needs WAY more subscribers. Actually, they both do. Very deserving!
Love the track. Great job. Do more please

love the Acid Rain Maestro such a powerful and fun module.
My God. That patch starting at 5:36 is really something incredible. Saw a clip of it in the Maestro video and just had to find the rest of it.
Awesome! Merry Christmas!
Demo 4...phew! Thanks for sharing this. Keep it up!

you can and will.. pull a few modules at a time into a small rack and learn them ;) you can also build them from kits and its way less expensive.
This one is excellent. Module purchased and subbed lol. Great video!
Awesome mate!👌👌
Great Work Jeremy. Please release these as songs, demo 3 at least ;)
Demo05 is great to get stoned to!
I want more Happy Nerding gear. And I keep looking at Maestro. OCHD looks so dejected in the corner ;-)
Of course now that I hesitated Maestro is galactic back-order until who knows when.

I have a video on my main channel about maestro that also uses chainsaw

maestro would be dope with a attenuated fader slider
Hey Jeremy! could you go into a bit of detail about how you used Shifty to hocket / sequence the chords on Chainsaw? I love what you did there.
Super nice. And so melodic. You‘re sequencing with a Daw or did you really create such melodies on something like the René?

I have a video on shifty on my other channel :)
Demo 2 soubds awesome! Is the chainsaw doing the pad? Whats the sto doing? :)
Bass
oh jeez, im here after the instant thumbs down lol, cool stuff jeremy
that's it, i'm getting shifty now.
What’s the patch notes on what the maestro is doing in these patches?
Nice...but I don't understand where Shifty out gone...
?
How do you like acid rains maestro. Can’t you do the same with a sequencer and maths?
No you can't. And I love it.
