Im a fairly new member to ur channel.. im really liking the content u put out.. especially the collections u buy and the videos like this showing the results from recent Heritage auctions.. 👍 For me... It's good to see these books beat ur estimates.. i guess it's a double-edged sword, and depending on which side u fall, i guess, determines if collectors/investors think its good or bad.. but i just like knowing some comics beat trends or expectations, and it proves there's value in this hobby and life after the Comic Boom 🙏
The Four Color 386 was my purchase. Not necessarily the record that I care to set but my explanation. I’ve been chasing that book in high grade. As you know high grade four colors are tough. I admit I probably overpaid but I finally filled the hole in the PC!! It’s an addiction!!
Hey Ryan, this is Bob in Connecticut like I was saying amazing fantasy 15. You cannot keep that down for that long… right now there is 6.5 it’s at $96,000 with a couple of days left on Comic Link.. we all know on Heritage auction last month. There were a couple of copies 5.0 and they sold for $69,000 and $63,000.. my friends keep asking me why I did not sell my amazing fantasy 15 6.0. For $100,000 in October that was my offer because the guy that was going to pay me said it’s much better. He was going to crack it and send it back to CGC because it was graded 20 years ago, with no marvel chipping.. I’m not selling my copy
I just picked up a low grade National 36 and 50 (also a Modern 44), maybe i'll get lucky? I've been thinking about that bound volume epidsode you put out and its pretty cool little niche. I've been breaking them down into three group; Publisher, professional and amature. You also see all sorts of weird stuff for sale too, almost like some people just had a stack of whatever they had been reading sent in to get bound.
A large batch of high grade Dell file copies came into the market back in the late 80's so there probably is a higher grade raw copy in a collection somewhere, maybe.
I agree that AF #15 seems to have bottomed out and appears to be on the upswing. Lower graded copies below 5.0 are going for around $10,000 per point. Of course presentation is very important. So many copies have Marvel chipping. If you see a copy for sale without chipping, it will undoubtedly be priced higher. AF #15 is one of the top three most important comics behind Action #1 and TEC 27, which are out of reach for most collectors. At least AF #15 is still “affordable” in the lower grades. That might not be the case 5-10 years hence.
I’ve been doing this a pretty long time. I’ve estimated tens of thousands of comics over the last few years and have proven I’m pretty good at it. You can choose to deny it, but that’s on you.
I think hulk 1 got affected by the horrible portrayal of Ruffalo….everyone hates him as hulk. I really hope Disney doesn’t do blade movie like it sounds they abandoned plans to do. I would like to pick that up in a high-grade in the future but I will wait if they make the movie because I think the movie is just gonna be garbage.😅

Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching 👍
that 9.6 Cap looks to be in better condition than one of the 9.9's I've seen
It really is a good looking book.
These are fun, informative videos, Ryan. Please keep doing them!
I love thsat Solomon Grundy book, such a weird cover and a hard-to-find book. I wouldn't mind owning one someday. Thanks for the great content!
All American 61 was a good steal. Love the Scrooge mcduck covers
I was the previous owner of the 3.5 that sold. Hoped to get more because of the 2.0 sale. Upgraded to a 6.5.
Once again great show Ryan
I still think Fawcett publications are still under valued

The fact that Scrooge #6 cover shows him literally laundering money will drive the conspiracy theorists wild!!
Please don’t give them any ideas. They already hate Disney.
always fun analysis

Awesome I recently just found that Scrooge book excited to get it cleaned and pressed and see how it grades
Loki and Thor technically first appeared 2000 years ago in Norse mythology!

It's not affordable for me! Maybe I need to get a better job.
I don’t think the comics are up your estimates are just low this time
