The thing about the TOBI=OBITO thing is that it was so obvious and was hanging around in the story for so long that the fanbase gaslight themself into been someone else.
@@keypath4389 I can still remember the first time I read that theory on reddit, and while it had NEVER crossed my mind (skill issue?), the second I saw all the clues laid out I immediately knew it was true. And it was kind of an awesome feeling that hooked me on the "theory" side of anime/manga to this day.
This is the actual reason. The idea of Tobi being Óbito was actually pretty much widely agreed upon from the very beginning. But the more red herrings the story tried to throw and the longer we went on without an answer, the more a part of the fan base tried to insist it was something else. And then it wasn’t. Which after years of speculation left a lot of people dissatisfied, but they don’t really have anyone to blame but themselves to be fair.
Some of the jokes in this video killed me, mainly for how well-timed they felt, and, of course, I obviously agree with your stance on the whole "talk no justu" thing. With Obito in particular, I like how he serves as this culmination of sorts to the "Naruto parallels" that pop up throughout the series. That thread is a big part of why I appreciate Gaara and Pain so much, and the same is true for Obito, even if he's not personally my favorite antagonist. If I were to make one critique on this video, I think the rapid fire visuals at the start of the filler section made it harder to focus on what you were saying at that point. I'm also a big fan of that synergy between audio and video, I just personally thought that part could've been a bit toned down. Solid video, looking forward to part 3!
Thanks! Yeah it's actually toned down from what I made at first which I realized might've even been seizure inducing >_< It's similar to that chunk in the Hinata section where I'm talking very abstractly about media analysis and I just have this blob of my videos as "SOMETHING" visual, that one is at least carried by the text I include and the Ebert clip, and also it's not too long whereas the filler visuals last for like two paragraphs worth. It's a symptom of this STUPID problem I gave myself in the scripting phase where I wasn't even thinking about what I was supposed to put for visuals, I just wrote as if I weren't making a video! "Oh I'll just figure something out like I always do" UGH such a headache.
You're so right about the importance of OPs for setting the tone of a set of episodes--and for signifying progress. Most people (myself included) skip them a lot of the time, but it's kind of wild how so many of the Naruto OPs can still immediately take me back to the point in my life where I was first watching those episodes. And covers of those songs on youtube have multi-millions, even tens of millions of views in some cases. Shows how much they resonated with the audience. It's something that people who use things like Naruto Kai miss out on, even though I'd probably recommend that to a new viewer.
Now that I think about it, all of the good filler was the filler I remembered when I talked about it😅 the gems make it still worth watching imo. Great video!
I cannot overstate how much I love your vids, from music choices, to editing, to your vibe and how you just like to talk about the stuff you like in a very personal way.
I enjoy listening to people be passionate about something and I enjoy seeing people being passionate in the things they create, so the OP/ED track in particular was chef's kiss. I've enjoyed these longform Naruto essays a lot so far, I'm sure they are a lot of work but I hope you're able to do other videos like this on different subjects too. Looking forward to the last (?) I absolutely was glued to the screen after only ten minutes and knew that I had to watch the whole thing on my TV. I loved each section and the analysis on Obito since as a character has slowly and increasingly ranked up in my favourite characters in Naruto. Would watch another video of you just talking about him and what your further opinions would be with spoilers tbh!
I wanna say I think your Naruto content is by far the most engaging on UA-cam, though it's not quite to my preference. Not a criticism at you or anything but ofc, I've only ever read the manga and haven't seen the anime outside of a few episodes I was told to watch and certain clips on UA-cam that get shared. For me the one person who's influence I can talk about on naruto the most is just Kishimoto himself. I would have liked if you talked about any of the things he's said or how his writing connected with you. But still the things you talk about regarding the animators and directors is superb. I realize I didn't give enough respect to all these other people who've worked so hard on what's like my favorite story, more broadly just the medium of animation in general, so I really appreciate it. 1:29:50 One thing I want to note here about the triple take. A lot of Dezaki techniques you mentioned were added in the adaptation of Kakashi vs. Obito. But the triple take specifically is actually one of the manga's trademarks. I wonder if Kishimoto took inspiration from Dezaki for that, he's a pretty big animation fan so it would make sense. I've heard once it had to do with how certain actions were edited in samurai movies, but I have no source either way. You absolutely nailed the Obito section on what makes him so compelling, interesting, dynamic character to follow throughout the series. He only appears in Part 2 yet you can feel Obito's influence from the very beginning of the series. That said, I know you try to avoid spoilers in your videos but I think the section is a bit weaker for not talking about Obito's backstory and motivations for becoming how he did. Because ultimately that's the biggest sticking point of what makes people dislike Obito and think he's a bad character. I think it's absolutely amazing, poignant, fittingly tragic. But people just can't accept that his turning point. I think it's stupid but it would have been nice to see someone address it. Regarding your first video it really felt good to hear how various content creators and fans making analysis and trying to debunk various misconceptions around Naruto was part of what made you finally get around to it. I probably think too much of myself but it feels like everyday I'm having some discussion of Naruto here and there hoping someone will see it and like it more. Of course that's nothing compared to the ones who started putting out Naruto analysis years ago like Mathwiz, Craftsdwarf, etc. And it makes me happy to see that all their work went into making you, who might no have previously been interested in Naruto, decide to give it a chance and you came out loving it and sharing your passion for it. I don't think it's quite a favorite for you like that, but that's okay, seeing how much passion even a simple enjoyer of a work can pour into talking about it is exactly what I love to see too. It emphasizes that Naruto really is just a great series and story that shouldn't really be that hard to find merit in. Which is important to me and stuff. The Hinata section rang very true to me in the previous video because I'm the same way with this series. Though for me that character is specifically Naruto himself. It's not very hard for it to be my favorite manga when the character I most connect to gets the most screen time, moments, development, and is just pretty much omnipresent in various aspects of the writing. No character has ever inspired me so much. So yeah I get it if people don't like Naruto that much because they wanted Lee to be the main character or something. but like you said I wish people were just upfront about these things. If people were more interested in Lee they should just say that. But it really tires me to see people say he's so obviously a better character than Naruto when Naruto literally speaks to me on a level that no other character ever has and if the manga were about Rock Lee it just wouldn't my favorite at all or in any capacity. The gushing over Hinata was also very sweet and endearing. She's not a favorite but she's a kind of character where when I think about her I just get kinda overwhelmingly happy, especially in relation to her with Naruto's character. This all said, great work. Unbelievably excited for your upcoming 90 minute analysis on Naruto & Sasuke's dynamic. My favorite pair of characters of all time. And one that's quite underrated in my eyes, having a lot of silly misconceptions or complaints surrounding it. Very interested in your take.
Thank you very much for the comment! Yeah ofc Naruto as a series means so much when the main character has that effect, it's the same for me with Joe in Ashita no Joe and Luffy in One Piece! Yeah I didn't know Obito's backstory was the controversial part! I hope at least mentioning the reason he turned that way was the curse and nothing else to do with him is enough bc that's pretty much it (to me) 🤷
7:49 I do remember liking the "one-off" filler episodes more to the "mini-arc" ones. They actually felt like they knew they were filler instead of trying to pad things out for so long. 11:05 And I agree that the arcs with Hinata in them are the better ones.
From what little I've heard from friends, your stance on the filler seems reasonable. I did enjoy Hidan's short return in Shipuuden though, as someone only tangentially invested in the franchise. Good job finishing this video! Keep up the great work!
Kino video. Count me excited for the next part!!! It was funny while reading the Naruto manga as it came out that so many people didn't seem to notice Tobi's name being lifted directly from Obito; on top of that, his first mask is literally the shape of the Kamui, which hints at the connection with Kakashi. One thing I find interesting about the Kamui and the spiral imagery being so iconic to Tobi specifically is that it also hints directly at that spiritual/senpai connection with Naruto. Kamui is a spiral, Spiral is Uzumaki, and of course Naruto's entire name is lifted from those iconic real life whirlpools and fish cakes. The connections just don't stop. Kishimoto is goated for how well he's able to stack symbols all through the manga. And the showrunners really did their darndest to elevate all that in such a beautiful way.
The talk no jutsu thing started as a meme but people then started using it seriously, in fact it has gonne so overboard that its use by people that havent seen Naruto.Last night I was seen a podcast of people reacting to the first episodes of naruto and some of them were already using th e talk no jutsu "critisim".
Awesome video dude. I really appreciate you talking about Naruto but specifically the anime. I love Naruto its one of my favorite things in the world both the anime and the manga. But I absolutely adore the anime, its the reason I became an anime fan, hell animation in general. Most of the time you only hear the rough things about the anime like the fillers or pace or whatev but idk there are so many times you see the love and hard work the people working on the anime did. From the ops, the fights, concluding a 700-chapter manga somehow, and so much more. You really captured the magic the anime has with your videos. There is so much love and fun here, HELL SASUKE DOES TWO PILEDRIVERS IN THE AIR IN THE ANIME, AND ITS THE COOLEST THING IN THE WORLD. Great work and thank you for an awesome reminder of how much I love this anime and Naruto as a whole.
I love the talk no jutsu :D It makes sense for opponents to understand each other, and it really grinds my gears when they don't bother with something this important. I know that yes, some villains are just not that deep, but I still think it's something we need to see more often, especially in characters who have a lot in common.
Naruto's filler benefited from making a lot of the side characters more memorable and iconic(geniunly think the reason why people are attached to the Konoha 11 so much when a lot of them had pretty limited screentime in the manga)
Cant wait for the One piece saga of your awesome, hour-long, (and very importantly) amv packed videos. By the way, best appearance in the Reddit Anime Awards :) just saw it today.
I’ve mentioned before how fun of a nostalgia ride it has been to watch these videos, I shall proceed to selfishly go on about some meaningless things I’d like to say 13:53 “Beach or silly Halloween episode over filler” Yes… please yes. Fully with you on that sinking boat. 43:05 “compelling if you’re not a…” Lol, Is fun to hear someone as positive as you get existentially furious at times, and see which things get you there are. 43:20 “Cringe is probably the best word for it” Akatsuki’s camera pan shot on “No boy, no cry” is so freaking cool, I tend to gravitate most towards playfulness on OPs, and that Tsunade turn is a shot that has lived in my head for so long, so felt good to see it been recognized, that whole OP wakes the child in me when I go back (Many from OG do, and I wasn’t a child when I watched it, although probably was mentally). So felt like a slap in the tits when you used it as a “cringe example”, be it a friendly one, still inappropriate, that’s sexual harassment after all. I was hoping for an OP breakdown when you were talking about it, and then it came… 👌 I remember how much of a big deal Haruka Kanata was as it aired… was once at a computer store for some spare parts and a guy just drove in blasting the OP the guy at the counter and me just stared at each other and nodded. 43:31 “making your OP a joke” (OP11 Tostsugeki rock) Funnily enough, OP 11 is also one of my favorites, love its playfulness, I remember laughing so hard with a friend the first time it shown, especially because of the war In the show and all Also, I wish they would've used the whistling part from the full song, seeing some characters whistling would have been amazing. Speaking of full song versions, was about to ask if you go and watch the music videos, but the break down for Haruka Kanata made clear you do, I used to do that more often than I do know, it was always so fun, the reason I bring this is that there was also a lot of cringe to be found, and I know it's subjective and we all have different things we can or can't stand in the cringe scale, one particular example was... Tsuki no Ookisa (OP 14), that op is so fucking cool, so I rushed to see the music video once it was released, and oh boy!, it legit tainted the OP itself for a short while, classic idol looking as pretty as they can holding a pose for the camera with kunoichi cosplays, may sound amazing for some, I just couldn't, have to admit though, I just went back to it right now, the repulsion is not as bad as It was back then, but still… 43:50 “things that work for me and other that don’t..” I was hoping you would mention Op 13 (Niwaka Ame ni mo Makezu), what was the deal with those darn animals?, remember having a long winded conversation trying to interpret it with a friend, but we refused to look it up, we were just trying to make sense of it on our own, which devolve in the most silly explanations we could think of after a while, so we had a big laugh when they pulled a similar thing for Shingeki’s S02 OP as well. But gotta admit, Mizukage’s water spitting shot is so good, and Raikage’s brawling Susano… amazing! 50.43 “OP breakdown - Haruka Kanata” The OP breakdown was really satisfying, but you had to take a jab at my poor Ten-Ten didn’t you? Ten-Ten admires will hold this grudge now, all 3 of us. That rotating shot and Naruto scream on Haruka Kanata are so iconic, you couldn't go to any anime forum without a gif or edit of it being somehwere 59:40 “OP breakdown - Overall” I'd love to see a full-on dive into your favorites like that, even if it is just your top five or 3 or something. 1:12:58 “is in his name” Even early on when Tobi was still a goof-ball, there was a pretty popular and adopted theory for him being Obito, the first time I stumbled with that I hadn’t even reach the episode (I would jump in and out for some months every so often, especially when the fillers arrived) it mentioned how you repeat his name multiple times “tobi-tOBI-Tobi” would spell it out for you, so was like a well-known secret type of thing, but I remember still being spoiled with the "you let Rin die" panel, even if knowing about it for a while, It still pissed me off so badly. So at least from the circles I were in back in the day, I never saw any Obito commentary being shut down, denied or ridiculed or treated as a huge reveal, but the way it did was the big deal as you pointed out. 1:17:10 “Villain” Tobi was perfect as a villain especially as you pointed out, he was there for the whole thing, got to admit that it was a let-down for me to swap villains and end it up with the whole Kaguya thing. Which, leads me to... Ending 28 (Niji) is in my book, fucking amazing! To this day, it still gives me the chills and Is not an exaggeration, I just watched it again, such a cool journey for a villain, the whole "to hell and back for love/revenge", **chef’s kiss** The whole fanboying section for Obito vs Kakashi was so satisfying to listen, one of those episodes I go back every so often. It has been a joy to watch these video about your Naruto journey, Shaybs, really entertaining.
Yo, the inflated Sasuke with his feet out in the flicker shots was some peak trolling. I kept thinking maybe I saw it and then I was like fuck this. I’m gonna pause and unpause it until I find it. Your videos kill evvvvery time 😂
Obito was the best villain, I agree. He should have been the final boss in my opinion, barring Sasuke perhaps. I don't agree about the jinchuriki arcs being among the least worthwhile filler though. They are basically the only ones I actually remember after a decade.
That's fair, tho you do remember what happened in those arcs or just the visual of those characters being in the arc? Like don't get me wrong I think that could've worked if A) they actually did it for all the jinchurikis, and B) if the arc actually focused on them and they weren't secondary characters.
i still believe to this day that naruto/naruto shippuden's soundtrack, its openings and endings surpass any other shonen anime, on the level of both songs and visuals. they're really something special, and some of them are standalone art pieces of animation that can be enjoyed separately for the sheer skill and beauty on display.
Of course Tobi is either Izuna, Sasuke from the Future, Danzo, Fugaku or Madara. There’s no way he can be Obito, that’d be too obvious! Kishimoto would never do that!
This video is fantastic! Are you planning on doing something like this for the other of the big 3? Would love to see your awesome analysis on them as well
Not for Bleach unfortunately, I liked it but didn't hit for me like Naruto. This format also caused me quite a bit of grief, bit off way too much, so I'd die doing this for One Piece since it's literally become my 2nd favorite anime period lmao One Piece vids will definitely be a thing tho haha
@@CaribouCoon Awe damn Bleach especially was what I was hoping for :( Sorry to hear it caused you alot of grief but I hope you know it paid off, absolutely eye opening the way you talked about how Anime OP's can be used. Keep up the good work bro!
It's partially blocked everywhere besides US and Canada :( I'm gonna make a compilation vid with all three parts and edited to avoid content ID but not for a while
I don’t know if you convinced me to watch all of the fillers, because I do like my time, and fillers can take me out of the story. I might check it some of them when I revisit the series (manga only) Also AOT fillers would just ruin the great pacing and structure of that story, and nowadays they tend to finish more adaptations than a decade ago. RIP Haikyuu tho.
Each series would need it's proper choices of anime original content. I agree AOT wouldn't work with Naruto Shippuden's approach or even Bleach's, but eps like those Kobayashi Boyhood episodes would work PERFECT for AoT I think, there's so much left to explore for many of those characters' pasts, even redundantly. And heck, in a way AoT DID have a form of filler when you think about it, that Levi OVA and AoT middle school, both of which sustained that long wait for s2.
I was around during the discourse on naruto the talk no jutsu was 100% used by the braindead to justify why the show sucked because unlike their betters they did not just "fight it out" a lot of the discourse like this at the time caused me to be like eh just forget about anime for a long while I got back in with recent good season series but I still contend some of the stupidest logic is used in shounen series for why this or that is not good. My personal opinion is that often the quieter more somber moments can be more impactful or enhance the fights in many ways that continued action just might not of.
Naruto Filler is so sad spent a summer once watching every single episode of the og Naruto series, and it's just so self-awaredly nothing, even the episodes mentioing how much filler there's been and it's just so sad, since really wish there was anything more interesting there at all anime original episodes or scenes can be often the best part of anime, and it's just kinda sad to watch sth made in order to just continue a thing just kinda wish they made sth more creative with them
16:39 That storyline has to be one of the worst filler in the Naruto series. They concept of an Alternate Universe could've been interesting, but the execution was just terrible.
The thing about the TOBI=OBITO thing is that it was so obvious and was hanging around in the story for so long that the fanbase gaslight themself into been someone else.
damn it really WAS too obvious Kishimoto's a genius 😭
THIS is exactly how I felt too at the time, everyone thought it cant be that easy right?? gotta be someone else..

Thanks! Stick around one more is coming 💪
I love the talk no jutsu :D It makes sense for opponents to understand each other, and it really grinds my gears when they don't bother with something this important. I know that yes, some villains are just not that deep, but I still think it's something we need to see more often, especially in characters who have a lot in common.
you understand so well the magical combination of naruto and butt rock
Episode 480-483 remind me to the great tales of bhasingse episode in avatar. Simply heartwarming and melancholic
Good comparison!
god these AMV's go so fucking hardd i got CHILLS when all caps started playing
great stuff. made me super nostalgic for so much of the series.
Thanks!
Yeah the One Piece content is gonna hit different
I’ve mentioned before how fun of a nostalgia ride it has been to watch these videos, I shall proceed to selfishly go on about some meaningless things I’d like to say
13:53 “Beach or silly Halloween episode over filler”
Yes… please yes. Fully with you on that sinking boat.
43:05 “compelling if you’re not a…”
Lol, Is fun to hear someone as positive as you get existentially furious at times, and see which things get you there are.
43:20 “Cringe is probably the best word for it”
Akatsuki’s camera pan shot on “No boy, no cry” is so freaking cool, I tend to gravitate most towards playfulness on OPs, and that Tsunade turn is a shot that has lived in my head for so long, so felt good to see it been recognized, that whole OP wakes the child in me when I go back (Many from OG do, and I wasn’t a child when I watched it, although probably was mentally).
So felt like a slap in the tits when you used it as a “cringe example”, be it a friendly one, still inappropriate, that’s sexual harassment after all.
I was hoping for an OP breakdown when you were talking about it, and then it came… 👌
I remember how much of a big deal Haruka Kanata was as it aired… was once at a computer store for some spare parts and a guy just drove in blasting the OP
the guy at the counter and me just stared at each other and nodded.
43:31 “making your OP a joke” (OP11 Tostsugeki rock)
Funnily enough, OP 11 is also one of my favorites, love its playfulness, I remember laughing so hard with a friend the first time it shown, especially because of the war In the show and all
Also, I wish they would've used the whistling part from the full song, seeing some characters whistling would have been amazing.
Speaking of full song versions, was about to ask if you go and watch the music videos, but the break down for Haruka Kanata made clear you do, I used to do that more often than I do know, it was always so fun, the reason I bring this is that there was also a lot of cringe to be found,
and I know it's subjective and we all have different things we can or can't stand in the cringe scale, one particular example was... Tsuki no Ookisa (OP 14), that op is so fucking cool, so I rushed to see the music video once it was released, and oh boy!, it legit tainted the OP itself for a short while, classic idol looking as pretty as they can holding a pose for the camera with kunoichi cosplays, may sound amazing for some, I just couldn't, have to admit though, I just went back to it right now, the repulsion is not as bad as It was back then, but still…
43:50 “things that work for me and other that don’t..”
I was hoping you would mention Op 13 (Niwaka Ame ni mo Makezu), what was the deal with those darn animals?, remember having a long winded conversation trying to interpret it with a friend, but we refused to look it up, we were just trying to make sense of it on our own, which devolve in the most silly explanations we could think of after a while, so we had a big laugh when they pulled a similar thing for Shingeki’s S02 OP as well.
But gotta admit, Mizukage’s water spitting shot is so good, and Raikage’s brawling Susano… amazing!
50.43 “OP breakdown - Haruka Kanata”
The OP breakdown was really satisfying, but you had to take a jab at my poor Ten-Ten didn’t you? Ten-Ten admires will hold this grudge now, all 3 of us.
That rotating shot and Naruto scream on Haruka Kanata are so iconic, you couldn't go to any anime forum without a gif or edit of it being somehwere
59:40 “OP breakdown - Overall”
I'd love to see a full-on dive into your favorites like that, even if it is just your top five or 3 or something.
1:12:58 “is in his name”
Even early on when Tobi was still a goof-ball, there was a pretty popular and adopted theory for him being Obito, the first time I stumbled with that I hadn’t even reach the episode (I would jump in and out for some months every so often, especially when the fillers arrived) it mentioned how you repeat his name multiple times “tobi-tOBI-Tobi” would spell it out for you, so was like a well-known secret type of thing, but I remember still being spoiled with the "you let Rin die" panel, even if knowing about it for a while, It still pissed me off so badly.
So at least from the circles I were in back in the day, I never saw any Obito commentary being shut down, denied or ridiculed or treated as a huge reveal, but the way it did was the big deal as you pointed out.
1:17:10 “Villain”
Tobi was perfect as a villain especially as you pointed out, he was there for the whole thing, got to admit that it was a let-down for me to swap villains and end it up with the whole Kaguya thing.
Which, leads me to...
Ending 28 (Niji) is in my book, fucking amazing!
To this day, it still gives me the chills and Is not an exaggeration, I just watched it again, such a cool journey for a villain, the whole "to hell and back for love/revenge", **chef’s kiss**
The whole fanboying section for Obito vs Kakashi was so satisfying to listen, one of those episodes I go back every so often. It has been a joy to watch these video about your Naruto journey, Shaybs, really entertaining.
So glad you enjoyed!
I guess I wasn't as burnt about Kaguya bc I knew it was coming
this makes me want to get back into naruto :) great video
😄
babe wake up, new caribou-kun vid dropped
"finally" 😴
43:24 omg i knew you were gonna bring this one up when you mentioned cringe soundtracks lmao, is also one of my favorites in Naruto.
I saw this and thought you were referring to Shippie OP 11 💀
Yeah I really like OG OP 6
This just makes me want to watch a video of you gushing over cool anime OPs
I have only watched the AMV part of this video and just finished Shippuden yesterday, but good job Shaybs :)
Hell yeah hope you enjoyed Shippie!
14:32 Gotta give Bleach props for directly telling viewers that they're doing an original filler story. Gotta appreciate the honesty.
Yo, the inflated Sasuke with his feet out in the flicker shots was some peak trolling. I kept thinking maybe I saw it and then I was like fuck this. I’m gonna pause and unpause it until I find it.
Your videos kill evvvvery time 😂
Thanks!
Tho I actually dunno what you're talking about 😳
6:27 im serious you used the frame a couple times in different spots, 😂 now im just gonna be embarrassed lol
1:14:50 Never underestimate the calculative power of Teuchi
BANGER OF A VIDEO!
filler section was my favorite one in this series so far😄i’m excited for track 7
I had to drop everything I was doing to watch this in full. I'm very much excited for the last video in this series
Thanks!!
1:15:07 wait is that... from a 'Kimba ripped off Lion King' video?
YEAH 😂
i still believe to this day that naruto/naruto shippuden's soundtrack, its openings and endings surpass any other shonen anime, on the level of both songs and visuals. they're really something special, and some of them are standalone art pieces of animation that can be enjoyed separately for the sheer skill and beauty on display.
1:29:52 was that JONTON era Game Grumps reference?! I can’t imagine too many people caught it so I’m acknowledging it here.
@@HadenDA_sort_of basically haha
1:13:03 Maybe some thought it was way too obvious for Tobi to be Obito and just assume it could've been a misdirect.
Of course Tobi is either Izuna, Sasuke from the Future, Danzo, Fugaku or Madara. There’s no way he can be Obito, that’d be too obvious! Kishimoto would never do that!
I actually fucking love the TV Tokyo stuff after old openings, but maybe it’s just nostalgia
31:37 Personally if there's an OP I find to meh, then I usually don't mind if the Cold Opening happens first.
I cannot wait to find out in what I know will be a banger of an episode
God I remember people guessing Danzo being his real identity.
😂😂
57:48 I good cut is making the viewers think its one continuous shot.
I was one of the people who didn't believe that Tobi was Obito, for the longest time I thought it was Izuna (Madara's brother)
This shit be so good I hat to go back and watch the first one again.
I expect the next one to force me to rewatch this one again.
50:52 I remember that scream syncing with Ino in the cartoon network edit.
💀
@@CaribouCoon ua-cam.com/video/LkyOM4GpkRw/v-deo.html
This video is fantastic! Are you planning on doing something like this for the other of the big 3? Would love to see your awesome analysis on them as well
Not for Bleach unfortunately, I liked it but didn't hit for me like Naruto. This format also caused me quite a bit of grief, bit off way too much, so I'd die doing this for One Piece since it's literally become my 2nd favorite anime period lmao
One Piece vids will definitely be a thing tho haha
@@CaribouCoon Awe damn Bleach especially was what I was hoping for :(
Sorry to hear it caused you alot of grief but I hope you know it paid off, absolutely eye opening the way you talked about how Anime OP's can be used. Keep up the good work bro!
good amv
you should make a fist of the north star video whould be cool to hear your opinions about it
I gotta rewatch it but I definitely agree
@@CaribouCoon wooo :)
20:25 Gotta be honest, while I enjoyed Itachi's Story in the Anime, there some parts of the Light Novel I've wished they had adapted.
As soon as i hear Circe beginig to play i literaly whent for popcorn and soda and think Allrigth You got me , this is cinema 🗿🚬
Right?? 😂 I'm pretty proud of the soundtrack for Obito
I was so confused by that first Naruto vs Sasuke fight because a waterfall fight AMV convinced me to watch the series. I was like "wtf is this??"
lol I mean it's phenomenal once it gets there 😅
you really underrated
Thank you 🙇
what happened to the naruto sasuke rivalry video? did it get taken down?
It's partially blocked everywhere besides US and Canada :(
I'm gonna make a compilation vid with all three parts and edited to avoid content ID but not for a while
I don’t know if you convinced me to watch all of the fillers, because I do like my time, and fillers can take me out of the story.
People Tobi was Obito at first but then he revealed himself as Madara. But then it's revealed that was a ruse and he was really obito
Naruto Filler is so sad
spent a summer once watching every single episode of the og Naruto series, and it's just so self-awaredly nothing, even the episodes mentioing how much filler there's been and it's just so sad, since really wish there was anything more interesting there at all
anime original episodes or scenes can be often the best part of anime, and it's just kinda sad to watch sth made in order to just continue a thing
just kinda wish they made sth more creative with them
haruka kanata will always be the goat
Naruto's Greatest Villain is the Leaf Village themselves
29:55 what opening is this though?
Koroshiya-san The Hired Gun. I'd seen the OP and really liked it but the show turned out to be ass lol
insert that hitler video of him raging at the obito tobi twist kek
Who is naruto greatest villain easy Pain & Madara Uchiha
It's already begun, you're the first. You won't be the last.
It's not too late, I could change the title.....
Nah.
@@CaribouCoon maybe the greatest naruto villains were the weeks we had to spend in filler hell
16:39 That storyline has to be one of the worst filler in the Naruto series. They concept of an Alternate Universe could've been interesting, but the execution was just terrible.
Sakura is mostly a filler character
