Gaijin did an oopsie, the real tank does not have composite in the triangles. There are photos taken by a member of the war thunder forum who operates these vehicles and took photos of the triangles that are shown to not have composite filling and are just empty space
@@jspeneif it's the image with the open hatch on the side of the wedges that hatch and the space inside is literally perfectly shaped to slide a composite block inside just because it's not always there doesn't mean it doesn't exist at all i mean the Canadian government literally said they were being upgraded to the 2A7 standard back when it was done so i doubt a government would get scammed by just installing 20mm wedges onto the front anyways regardless it should be firing Dm53 and not KE-W gaijin just butchered it so they could make it a premium
@@jspene the photos u were talking about wedges being empty someone told me that they are in fact empty during training sessions so that the crew can get some more storage space to keep their stuff but that doesn’t mean gaijin should just use training configuration one and not the one filled with composites one…the fact that gaijin did ppl dirty in the past by releasing prem tanks at a lower br rating so that ppl will buy it than increase its br gradually instead here they straight out scammed ppl by advertising it as having composite armour package similar to 2a7 series and then proceed to remove the line stating about the armour from the devblog and releasing a 2a4 which is a 10.3 br tank at 11.3 where it will fight majority of its battles against 11.7 tanks just because u have good thermals and a better round than dm33…..
aahhhh 10mm doesnt mean that the whole armor package is 10 mm it means that metal plate which covers composite is 10mm also what were u expecting, gunner optic is in the same spot like in normal 2a4 and its not that big weak spot cuz in most cases apfsd will only kill commander
@@IRON-5 Just obvious? the top outer layer is usually just small RHA plate which covers the inside composite. The 2A4M is an uparmored 2A4 which had the gunners optic as a weakspot considering it took away from the armor.
@@ShorThunder 90% of firewalls (wall between crew compartment and engine) in tanks isn't modeled in x-ray. You can see them thru shooting in simulation and it will light up
@@ThatRandomEstonian gaijin didnt add composite and modelled it in the training variant because it will have to bump up the br to 11.7 making it both better than the PSO and a toptier premium, you can check with freecam theres nothing there
