2022 Duncan Oklahoma Swap Meet

- Since I had a good time last year at the #DuncanOklahomaswapMeet I decided to check it out again this year. Unfortunately in 2022 fuel prices / inflation may have kept some vendors away as there were noticeably more empty vendor spaces this time. All in all it was still a good enough turnout that it was worth the two hour trip.

The Pontiac Catalina Convertible you don’t see every day. The olds bubble top fairly rare. Needs some love for sure, Benny. As always, something for everyone.
I would have liked to get that bubble top. The guy took it to the Pate swap meet that's much bigger than this one and sold it. I believe he wanted $5k. The new owner tried not flip it at the same swap meet for $10k or something around there. Not sure if he was successful

I have just watched a bunch of your Swap Meet vids & Subscribed. I am a car/truck guy but have never been to a swap meet as big as the ones you go to, I would never want to leave lol. My closest one that would be any size would be Englishtown NJ which is a 3hr drive and all my friends that are into cars moved away & my wife would get bored quick lol. I have sold all my cars & trucks except for a clean 89 Dodge Dakota long bed, I have been looking for wheels for it as it has the stock wheels & hub Caps Which look good Buuttt! Finding 15" small bolt pattern wheels has proving difficult used, I want wide out back skinny up front.
If you can, you should try Carlisle or Hershey, Pennsylvania. Big swap meets that are on my bucket list

I went several years back to this swapmeet and it was good, it looks attendance is down.
The same way with the Chickasha, OK swapmeet ....i havent been in years but it was nothing like it used to be.
I'm thinking the high fuel prices may have kept some vendors away.

Prices have gotten insane, but sometimes deals come into your lap. Yesterday, my coworker called me in the office to go over a few things and then he says, "There's a grab bag over there, take a look". He had mentioned that he was going to clean out his toolbox at home and he brought in some of those items. A load of about 30-40 pieces of Craftsman and SK, including some socket rails. A few of the Craftsman pieces have to be swapped out, but other than that, they are all "V" and "G" series USA made Craftsman items, including two Western Forge USA made pliers. We agreed on $30 for everything. Last time, I bought a 100 piece Craftsman set from him for $25. It was missing one piece which I had. I already cleaned up the pliers with the wire wheel and some light crocus cloth and WD40, and they are now good used pieces ready for work again.
Just once I would like to see a swap meet video with only vehicles for sale....

Yup tail lights and corner lights make good money , hell I thought I had alot but that one vendor dang he had a bunch .
A buddy he dose just header panels and he dose 50k a year of just them I don't do them cause of the removing hassles and how much room they take up. He has a 10x30 of nothing but header panels 70s and 80s.
U should have took the Galexy 500 man 500 beans man ida bought it and put it outside cover it up till u have time to build it for that price..
I'm more into the fastback version of that car.

Bad thing about gm 61-62 is that dog leg front window pillars they always leak in the rain from day one thats why you do see many now floors always rusted out on them things and that back window on the 61s . bad design from New so gm stoped building them in 62 and didn't use it on the skylark and tempest like the corvair had . cause of how the wing window curved out it would actually channel water in to the inner front side of the door and right into the floor of the car.
$50.00 for a 57 hood, I thought was a good price. I live in MD and you couldn't touch it for that price.

I don't live too far from Duncan Oklahoma and I normally go to the swap meet there I'm glad I didn't though. Not even close to the vendors they normally have. Plus I'm into classic Fords then classic Chevrolet's and from what I've seen on the video they didn't have a whole lot for Ford stuff
There were more vendors last year. Price of fuel might have played a part in less vendors
I'll bet that olds is worth somethin I've never see one anywhere like that is that a 61 he said dam..5000 in that shape it must be worth a hell of a lot..kinda wild lookin..U should buy that one Benny..nah u prob aint got 5 G's in cash man you'd have ta dig around in them junkyard's for a wile find that kinda money man u need a lot dam.dimes,, nickel's,, quarter's..and Penney's ta buy that Olds..😂😂🤣👍u know I'm just messin wit yah too..but if I had that kinda flow id buy it for real...
It would take a while with the change I find in cars 😄. I average about $300-400 a year I change from the yards. Id love to have that bubble top OLDS though

67 ford aint worth a 100 dollars with all that rust
