Thanks a lot Richard, comments like yours really motivate me to keep making Shenmue videos, I truly appreciate the support! 🙇 Funnily enough, I was just in the midst of coming up with absurd combos to include in the video when I accidentally glitched the QTE. Capturing all of the footage afterwards, while very time consuming, was definitely plenty of fun for me!... I'm afraid not so much for the “Master”. 😂

This video wouldn’t be a thing without the great effort you guys put into acquiring and preserving this prototype, I seriously couldn’t thank you all enough for what you did and keep doing for Shenmue and the community! I know, right?! Fixing all the inconsistencies and removing all mentions of scrapped/obsolete material must have been one hell of a final task for the developers. Yet one more reason to appreciate the Shenmue series if you ask me! 😎
I miss the days (like this) when developers would actually invest in Q&A and beta testing (prior to launch) to ensure their product was not broken and fully enjoyable.
Who knows… We got this build out of nowhere, so perhaps we will eventually get our hands on an early Dreamcast development build or, even better, the infamous Saturn build! It’s unlikely, but one can always hope!

Hi there, thank you for commenting! I’m honored to hear that, but while I do have hours of random footage saved, I’m not really interested in making walkthroughs for Shenmue, at least for now. Besides, there are plenty of channels on UA-cam who have already taken upon this very task, exploring Shenmue games in almost every single corner. I for one mostly upload combat-focused content, because I feel it’s one aspect of these games players either ignore entirely or don’t explore to the fullest.
