Awesome, be careful if you have put tyre black on your wheels though, they become like ice and you will properly deck it.. (Speaking from experience haha)

Another great vid. Question.. your swivel seat seems to spin around really easily, do you put some kind of spay or polish on it? Mine is always a bit of a mission !
Thanks so much, its just a technique that I have figured out. If you push it from the bottom half it turns way easier, I will show it on the next video I film properly (with a talk through) if you like - Push from the bottom, push towards the cabin first, then turn, then pull back and its done... ;) Hope that helps

Those lower slopes looked really unpleasant with all that water.
Did Scafell pike in 1976, when I was a boy of 23. Went up from Honister, is that the corridor route? I remember a bit of a scramble. Back down to Stonethwaite. Don’t think I’d manage it now!
That was quite a slog to the top but fab views when you got there. Cutting it a bit fine for light on the way back. And definitely not a pie.

Great campsite at Eskdale. My avatar pic is from Eskdale. Been going for over 10 years and last went in June when it was scorching 🥵. Great (less energetic) walks all around the valley and along the river. Can’t fault the area. Awesome! Looking forward to you stealth camping. Check Steve Wallis from Canada. He’s the ‘daddy’ of stealth camping. 🤟

Loved the video. My Hubbie used to love that walk, sensational views after all the effort. Accidental sleeps and then waking up in the dark can be quite disorientating can’t they 😂.
I think I spotted you in the Brook House Inn. I was up there to climb Great Gable for the remembrance weekend. Looked like you was on your way out so left you to it. 👍
By the way I done the same route as you but then went on to do Scafell Pike. Which was suggested by a friend I was walking with. Looks close but a challenge. 😂
Those bushes I think are Gorse, if so you can eat the yellow flowers in small amounts. But you'll lacerate yourself beyond repair for a snack.

No one uses Turtle wax anymore... well except you clearly... Buy autoglym one cap in a bucket, does the lot, and you just make sure it dry's afterwards to avoid streaks. I have used it on all my cars for years, after someone recommend it, and my van is no different.
Nice park up in the langdales. It has been a while since I last visited there. And boy are you grumpy at the end of a walk.. I would say harsher - but this is an open comment.. 🤣

That turtle wax is ace, it's got Carnuba wax in it and stays shiny for ages! I'll try the autoglym though and let you know ;)
