Beautiful boats great to see the baron name back but I would have got off the boat when he said South Africa does things better what a kick in the guts for the local guys
Such an amazing boat!
I went in and seen one of the new barons that they had on display when searching for an upgrade. Was moments away from spending the big bucks. But decided to stick with what was in reach and got a Carribean belmont instead.
Be interesting to see if the barons hold up with time with the new hull design.
Awesome boats! I have a Baron Sportsman with a DF140 and love it!
Liking the Mercury over the back!!
Its my now my 60hp on my over sized tinny!
Yeow sick video mate!! That Baron with the 150 Merc is mine and it's an absolute weapon!!
Caught a 15KG blue Groper and 145cm Kingy last week, wish I could show you some photos.
So when are you buying one? 😂
Awesome boat mate, spent most of the day on it,
Very comfortable in the chop
👍
Love the old Barons and seen the new ones a few times on the water. They look mint!!! How do you think you would go launching/retrieving by yourself. Too big/heavy?
I think it wouldn’t be much different to launching mine now and I run solo all the time.
It’s all to do with getting the depth of the trailer right so the bow lands on the back roller and doesn’t float around.
These trailers are properly designed for drive on drive off.
No rollers.
Might be a good excuse to take another one for a run to test the theory 😂
Be interested to see how they go with a pod longevity wise
Seems to be one on market place as we speak with a cracked transom 😬
Yes I saw that one too.
Pretty sure that was one of the original Barron’s from the 80s.
From what I’ve seen everything seems over engineered
Very thorough vid. Only one question remained, starting price? As a newbie to boats and fishing, excellent vid. Cheers
As they are all custom built to suit the price varies, I’m was just more interested in construction and features as I’m not selling them.
I’m sure the crew would be happy to talk figured if you contact them
@@Saltfix cheers👍
So is your old boat up for sale already...?
what bay was that for the photo shoot?
Eagle bay
When yours due lol
😉
