I've had a 102 for about 5 years now. Worth the money if you cant justify higher prices.

Hi! As I strike my guitar rather hard when I play and sing, I was thinking of a mic with optional settings like the tlm 107, that might seperate the dynamics of the guitar for instance. Do you think it has those options with the 107? I know that the u87ai has three options on it too, and that is a better mic..

I have the TLM 107. I ended up sending the first one back (used), the joystick was broken and wouldn’t change patterns. The one I have now is flawless. Hangs upside down in the shockmount in a gator frameworks on my desk. I have the round foam cover from my shure sm7b on it. Sounds great, top notch quality, even looks good.

Does it save settings after adjusting or each time when powered requires setting it up again?

The singer is a Tenor singing high range and the TLM - 102 shines for a Tenor or high pitched singer. The TLM - 103 is better for a Baritone or lower register voice. I love my 103 because my voice is very Baritone radio announcer. The 103 is the Howard Stern mic of choice for a reason. The 107 I have no experience with so I can't comment on it. The 102 needs a well treated room. The 103 does NOT need a well treated room.
