Congratulations on 50k! So very well deserved. I love this video so much, I keep coming back to it.
For some people, yoga nidra might be the only thing that can get them to sleep much like very good mindfulness meditation can help people let go and feel how their body and mind need to feel, but nidra is also extremely helpful for non-sleep rest. I would also recommend doing meditations like this in the sun. It’s good to see some trained guided meditation. This is excellent.

Lovely video and this method really caught my interest. Unfortunately the speed you were talking sounded hasted to me so it made me anxious instead of relaxed 😕
To anyone looking to decolonize their yoga practice i would heartily recommend tejal yoga and the "yoga is dead" podcast - both helped me further my understanding of how yoga has been colonized by the west and how i as a white person practicing am participating in it. I found it super helpful to reflect on who i am (not) supporting with my practice and to learn how to practice in a more respectful manner.

This has got to be one of the weirdest modern takes on yoga. Y'all know that Indian culture is basically already colonial, right? The Hindu caste system is racism elevated to religion, and the Brahmins who spread it are literally descendants of the same ruthless, expansionist nomads that conquered Europe and created colonialism while conquering the globe. In fact, Hindu nationalists will tell you they're the ethnic homeland of all western culture, although that's not historically accurate. Regardless, racism, apartheid, caste - these are all mutations of the same original idea: my people are distinct from and superior to yours. That's the purity y'all are seeking to rebuild. Forget the cultural garbage. Just use the techniques like you do everything else made by racists.
