@@radicalrepairs3888 Yes, hydo trans is easier, however only coming into favor when they started making these tractors is my guess. And since they likely couldn't 'insert' a hydro trans into the space of the manual trans, they just gave up the market. JD was able to make the transition so I am not sure why Honda would have given up but they did. Also, this tractor (the 5518 at least) needs power steering. Otherwise these are great tractors and I will keep my 5518 for now.

I like the steering , but I like hydrostatic drive better , this one is standard shift.
