Agreed. The baddest boss in the old Karate master in stage meditating and waiting to kick the robot ass. Man, his flying is straight up superb and the traditional shakuhachi flute is fast paced and awesome.
I keep asking myself how does he know where too go? Then I answer my own question, "his senses"
One of my favourite memories of this game: I played it alot the summer it came out, renting it alot, beating the game and going out into the warm summer nights with beautiful sunsets like in the game with the game soundtrack in my head. So cool. 😎🖤

Who knows, maybe they had in mind a possible third game with the three ninja warriors being repaired and reprogrammed to now fight against Mulk and his newer androids.

I personally think Kamaitachi is better at the harder levels late in the game. He's quicker, can jump higher, strikes better when crouching... A lot easier to evade and also a hard hitter.
A great nostalgic game for me the best is Kamaitachi, very fast, well-crafted combos really the best, then the blue ninja is good because he has a lot of strength but slow, the female ninja is very weak and with a bad counter attack, it has to be I show it in the control and in the combos if there is no anger, the game only plays when zero and very boring the robots self-destruct. I grade 8.9
This was like my all time favorite game.

I absolutely loved the original Arcade version of The Ninja Warriors, and the Amiga conversion. When I saw this on a friends SNES via a Wildcard I went and bought it straight away, and Batman Returns at the same time. Epic games.
What would have made this sequel even better:
1) Allow a two-player mode, just like the original Ninja Warriors had.
2) Allow players to hook dual or triple monitors up together, just like the original Ninja Warriors had. :)
I used to play this hell out of this game as a kid. Ninja Terminators... how can you go wrong?
If you can master this with Ninja and the other "male" robot, you will think it's the best SNES game of all time! And, the 3rd char provides you with a MAJOR challenge; if you can win with the red "lady", you are an expert of experts! It's got too many moves, bosses, enemies, and it is presented as if it was rendered on arcade!

This game is so cool. I love the music to the game. The fighting style is so cool.
Looks like the player here never took advantage of the partial discharge of the Blaster power - that's by holding up while finishing the normal hit combo.
It covers only the front of the player, but does the same unblockable damage, and drops the blaster bar only to the beginning of the wide section. The only risk is that you can still reset the bar to zero if you get beaten down while the meter is still filling
I remember how I discovered the move as a kid. Sometimes i accidentally pushed the up key while engaged in the heat of the battle, and suddenly the character did this super cool move that i had never seen. That's when I started trying different key presses, and finally I caught the idea.
Didn't use the jetpack flare either

Brings back the good old memories from the super nes days with the emulation the time I was a child I saw my two brothers playing this cool game and then that's when I started playing it for the first time I could only past two operation levels the headquarters and the port level even both normal and hard modes and I still couldn't past two operation levels but years later the time I was growing up I was able to past the operation levels and see the ending my favorite main character that I played with all the time to process through various operation levels was kamaitachi the exposed skeleton like- terminator robot dude with blades under his arms and the faster robot to play with I enjoy playing with kamaitachi alot and I also like the ninja who maybe slow but a powerful heavy hitter robot to played with because he beats on enemies longer with his spiky nunchucks and kunoichi was okay but in my own opinion kamaitachi and ninja where my only favorite characters of all times and also love the entire soundtrack of this game and it was awesome too.When my brother download this game on my emulation system it was actually the original japanese super famicom version that's under a different title ninja warriors again where some of the enemies like the ninja girls being replace with the wolverine like-dwarf claw guys and the prologue and epilogue was different between both version and the green blood where the human enemies get cut or slashed by blades replace with a star flash punch effect it's kinda similar to how final fight arcade ported to the super nes was censored. But on the other hand I enjoy this game but the soundtrack will always be my favorite music to listen to.My favorite soundtrack it was you confront jubei the evil karate master near the end of operation level 5 I like how the music begins to play and then after that that's when the music become super fast catchy for the best part to happen sometimes I'll press start although the soundtrack may volume it's self but I can still hear the music best game for super nes. I love this is supposed to be set in future America. Yeah right! One in ten soldiers have a gun! In America?! I don't care how future it gets we will always have ten guns per person, that's how crazy these people are over here.
Those soldiers are lowest-level henchmen, and that was probably intentionally done not only for gameplay balance, but also to go along with the dictatorship theme of the game.
China had a lot of guns until Mao showed up.
So did North Korea, and Haiti, and the USSR, and 1930's Germany.

Great beat 'em up,all 3 characters have very distinctive fighting styles with strenghts and weaknesses.
The female ninja is super fast and agile,but lacks strenght which is very noticable specially during boss fights,her reverse jump kick is also very hard to pull off.She's my least favorite character in the game.
The slim,ninja with the arm blades is also fast and agile,but he does much more damage,he's propably my favorite.
The big ninja,we see here,is slow as fuck and he can't jump,but he makes up for it,with sheer brute strenght.He does a shitload of damage and his throw attacks are awesome.Specially the one,where he grabs an enemy and spins him around and then throws him.He's also perfect,for the final boss fight,just grab the minions and throw them into the boss.

This isn't the original Ninja Warriors to begin with, Snes is loaded with spin-offs and with exclusive "continuation" titles, they saw it as an enhancement and appeal factor..problem was many of these titles also borrowed a lot from others that came before, this is an obvious mashup of the original Final Fight and the original Ninja Warriors.

Imo it wipes the floor with even Final Fight Tough. Though has bigger Combo potential but NWA is a much more thought out game concerning hitboxes, inv. frames, move repertoire and the like and thus to me much more fun (also the sprites are much better as is the music). The really good Capcom brawlers which could compete were sadly only released in the arcades (AvP, Punisher etc.).

Just like with Wild Guns, Natsume made a reimagined version of the SNES "Ninja Warriors" game and just released that earlier this year, called "The Ninja Warriors Once Again". The localized version (The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors) released Oct. 15 on Switch and PS4.
It got revived alright, and is better than ever. And one of the best developers still around, Natsume, did the game justice.
This is perhaps the only game where the slow big guy is the most fun to play as.

Verry good old game, and dark ending. The other two androids were also fine warriors, but you could easiley win this game to the Ninja. Becouse it can automatic throwing anyithing and anybody :)

Anyone know what those hunchbacked guys with the metal claws are called? I've seen enemies similar to that in other ninja themed games, so I assume its a Japanese mythology reference, but I haven't been able to find anything on them.
Can you play this on any recent console?
