Thank you Jonathan for yet another educational and entertaining video. Your customers are very lucky to have you overseeing their builds. Best wishes for your shoulder surgery and hello from Ontario, Canada.
Detailed analyses and explanations of every facet of Icon design & execution are always captivating and enlightening. What a brilliant idea of seamlessly marrying 'Old Iron' with modern tech upgrades. The results are consistently stunning and imminently practical....Cheers! woody, Guam Island
Grats on the shock system, can't wait to hear more. This is a nice example of simplicity monochrome, Really cool truck. Good luck with the surgery I hope it goes well. Important to follow up with the physio after the initial rest. :) Take it easy and see you when we see you.
I’m looking forward to hearing about the new suspension system at length: sounds intriguing in the best way! AND Best of Luck with the surgery Jonathan! Get well soonest!
Tossing the leaf springs and replacing with struts, essentially, it appears! Leaves room for a little more rubber afoot and a tighter turning radius? The IH Scout restorations might follow suit; Nah
I hope your surgery goes well, Recovery is NO JOKE!!! Make sure you use an ice machine, and get it on before the block wears off ;)

Very nice FJ , thanks Jonathan.
Looking spiffy there Jonathan
Best in the business 😎
Love it to bits, I would just have it in super extra mega gloss black
Is it just me or did the video freeze with no audio from 2:48 to 3:15? Jonathan, fire the editor. lol
Jonathan - The ambulance doors on the FJ40 started in 1975, not 1977. Sorry, I’m a geek when it comes to these vehicles. 😊
Anyone else got a ~30 second audio drop out around 2:40? Just me??
I’m looking forward to hearing about the new suspension system at length: sounds intriguing in the best way!

Yip I thought it was network
Yep
Can you get one without the lifted suspension? Like the original ride height.
Have you ever ICON 90s and early 2000s cars
@@michaelchavez2206 nope none yet
@@michaelchavez2206 actually, a few Defenders and a Caprice Classic

how much does one of these cost ?
It's one of those "If you have to ask" situations. I'd thumbnail it at around $185K.
Nice job but too tall and too loud for my taste. Love the content!
This truck is?
Out of most peoples price range. 😂
Nice vehicle….BUT…….no way can an average person afford one of these
Good stuff aint cheap, too expensive too much skilled labor to build cheaply
True, but it is good to look at. Also good to get ideas to work with what you have. Have a Merry Christmas!
I’d love to restore that properly back to factory spec. Too much immature America in that turd for me.
