This is mostly correct. The triangle folds (only) of the flag must be unfolded before the flag is raised. The flag is not raised slowly a little bit and then quickly, it is raised quickly from the start. The flag is also never tossed into the air, once the flag leaves the hands (kept at chest level) of the holder, the holder drops his hands and renders the hand salute.

When I was in honor guard all the commands were done quiet as possible so only we could hear it. Tho that was also for the daily raising and lowering of the flag ad keesler airforce base. So it might be different for an observed ceremony

@@nuahavizu you are right, all color guard and honor guard commands are done quietly, or nil. If commands are not necessary they shouldn't be called.
