Vietnam vet sees memorial wall for the first time | Flag City Honor Flight 2023

Jim and Bob Baumgartner are brothers. Jim was a Marine and served a tour in Vietnam. He lives in Maumee and knows too many names on the wall at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. He served in the early 1970s.
Bob was in the Air Force. He wasn't in Vietnam, but as the big brother, he worried plenty. It's a time of their life that has scars and great sadness.

If I could do it, I'd fly every Nam vet each year to DC to see The Wall, put them up in a hotel and pay for all expenses.
