I use only 256gb Sandisk Extreme for this camera as it consumes space at double the rate of the Hero 7. If you are like me, I try to never turn the camera off when I’m out as you can guarantee that’s when something will happen and you’ll miss it. You will require 2 x 256gb cards for a full days riding if you’re on tour.

As a Northumbrian I’ve spent decades exploring our County on my motorbikes .
Lindisfarne crossing is not to be played with every year people get struck or have vehicles swept away.
Costing RNLI & Coast Guard and emergency services time & Money.
As you say so much away from the route.

Fortunately, I’m not one of the idiots who’d try their luck on the causeway. You live in a beautiful county Bill 👍

Absolutely loved that series Jack. You rode past the most amazing little cafe owned by the company who smoke ‘Kippers’ in Craster. It’s a local delicacy but I know you were more focused on trying to find a seat with a view. Well done again, loved it. 👌🎥🏍️

Update on benches with sea views!! Double checked this weekend, there are benches at Boulmer, next to a free car park with toilets just across the road. The is also a cafe 2 miles away in Longhoughton. My wife also informs me there are some at Stag Rock, which you acccess via a turn-off in Beadnell. Can be very busy there.

Great series of videos Jack and as usual the same high quality production. I've a feeling Mrs Edge will want to go and do this route in the summer....win win for me.

Just discovered the channel - great viewing. Live on Tyneside and have ridden every one of those roads on scooters - great fun. My UA-cam picture is me riding past Bamburgh Castle… Presently taking part in a ‘riders challenge’ for charity and need to visit lots of the places you rode past. One comment - the lack of parking and seating at the coast is probably to make life easier for the locals. In the summer it gets rammed, and it would be chaos if the cars all went down those dead ends.

Thanks David. Yes, I can see how that would cause a problem for the locals. Although, I didn’t recall seeing any along the route that you could walk to from the car parks. Correct me if I’m wrong?

I think you could well be correct, but I know I’ve sat on the edge of the pier. There’s a great coffee and snack van (a posh one) in the main car park. We tend to grab something there and wander down to the harbour. We park the scoots near it and have never had an issue with people messing about. Looking forward to more journey videos. The bike ones are a lot more professional than the scooter channels I follow.

Enjoyed the series, you definately need to return. I like Lindisfarne late in the year, when there are no tourists, it's unbelievably atmospheric. There's also far better roads. Unfortuanely, there are very few benches overlooking the sea. There's a quiet spot at Beadnell and also at Boulmer. It's pronounced Anick, although there is a village called Anick! If you ever go to Alnmouth (worth a vist but no parking again), thats pronounced Alanmouth, for added confusion.

Nice series of videos, having done part of the route I agree it’s a nice part of the country.
I’ll make it 3 out of 3 it’s definitely pronounced “Annick” as I was told by a local lady at one of our stops last year.

You missed the cafe in Rothbury which is frequented by many bikers, beside the COOP. Worth a visit if you go through the village again.

Thanks Donna, I missed so much on this trip. I definitely need to get back up there.
I did see the car park on the way into Craster but I didn’t want to leave the bike with all my cameras unattended. I’ve had cameras stolen before and I’m really paranoid about security now. 👍👍👍

Truly excellent! After no1 I wrote that myself and a mate spend a week up there, and we both felt the same as in we didn't want to go home and we'd return in a heartbeat, the area does something to you. I for one really appreciate the effort you put in to produce this stuff, thank you. BTW, Alnwick is pronounced An-nick, so I was told by the locals.

I've watched so many of your uploads over the last day or so I was running out lol, I was glad to see you'd put episode 3 up of this story, its great, all of the vids I've watched have been great. I totally agree with a comment you said, you should definitely have more followers, you have a cool channel, so keep it up, we as your followers do appreciate the time and effort every UA-camr puts into the channel and how much effort it takes. (Not to mention the editing).
Thanks for sharing and see you on your next adventure/review 😊 ✌️🤙🤟

Hi Phillip and thank you. The phone holder is the BMW Motorrad wireless phone cradle, I bought mine on eBay for £200, beware of cheap Chinese imitators. Yes, the panniers go on and off very easily, they’re brilliant in fact 👍
