A quick look at & test of this new AFHDS3 receiver from Flysky :) Link to it: bit.ly/3oFjPim The car I used: www.toprc.nl/traxxas-ford-f150-raptor-rood.html?sqr=TRX-58094-1R Link to WTF RC Cars I got the binding info from: ua-cam.com/video/PeEy1xoZctk/v-deo.html
I'm trying to figure out what the differences are between the FGR4b and the FGR4S. The B came with my NB4+ and I bought a few s versions to add to other cars. When I was binding it I noticed the S series only blinds in classic mode not enhanced mode. What are the differences?
That's a really great radio, dude! And really nice receiver! 😃 But honestly? I want an ELRS rc car/boat radio. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks brother and yep.. very very nice radio IMHO.. glad I got it.. haha and yes ELRS.. I don't really see a benefit for cars / boats and that world is a lot more conservative then say the FPV world ;) Right? :) Cheers and have a great weekend over there!
Nice demo of the receiver. It certainly is pretty small and makes it more suitable. That was interesting that the servo centering was off when switching to this setup. Ok Mr DRC thanks for another truck video I'm sure your regulars are wondering if you working for Traxxas now 😉
howdy mate! Yes VERY weird how the servo was suddenly completely off-center! But ohw well.. Hahaha imagine that!? Working for Traxxas ;) Somehow car-video's do get decent views here though... (and nope.. video's about Receivers do NOT :D :P) Cheers & thanks for stopping by!
thanks and 100% correct! That very much used to be the case both for surface use and flying stuff.. Much better now! Not perfect, but enough to get most planes flying at least :)
HELP.... I cannot connect this to my Noble because the Noble doesn't see it - or, more accurately, I have no option on the Noble for connecting a "FGr4B" receiver. How do I fix this?
@@DutchRC Thank you SO much for the prompt reply. I am pre 93 - 89 I think. Do I need to cycle through the firmware updates in sequence or can I just go to the latest one? Also - will using that other program (can't remember its name) prevent me from losing all the vehicles currently on that radio? Thanks again! Best greetings from Canada from an EU born rc enthusiast.
@@DESOUSAB Howdy Bert :) you're welcome ofcourse! I would for sure at least Try to instantly bump it up to the latest version.. Regretably I have to tell you, you can't retain the models :( that wasn't possible with the older firmware's... Sooooo maybe consider if it's wurth it.. If the models in your radio are only straight up cars, I would make a fresh start :) Cheers! ps: where are you from then? :)
Hey man, thanks for this, the flysky website doesn't have any range specs for this rx and I am looking for a rx for my boat and was considering this one if the range was good.
Hi there Paul, I would say that for boats the range will not be an issue.. It will easily out-range your eyes.. But I don't know how this system handles speedboat prop-spray.. Soooo if it's a speedboat you will run: I don't know... Otherwise it will work very well
Can you tell me how to use the fgr4 receiver with my slash. Esc is Val-3s. The steering works but no throttle. I tried to calibrate the esc but it will not stick.
@@jordandeanda6244 same issue from my Esc is Val-3s, I don't know how to change the frequency of each channel, but already changed the reveiver (fgr8b), still not working for Val-3s .

@@DutchRC Well, I do FPV with rc cars... And I like to explore. So... 🤷♂️

excellent! I remember the choice of receivers was lacking a lot when I first looked at the new flysky systems. much better now I think?

looks good mate!
Thanks you very much sir :)
Do any of the noble recievers support stability control yet?
Nope.. I did a quick check, but the new ANT lineup also doesn't include one with build-in gyro
Flysky inr4 gyb receiver has gyro
Thanks
no worries :) glad the video helped you out

the first thing to do is probably update the firmware on the radio.. this is one of the latest receivers so it wasn't in the "older" firmware's...

that is weird.. ofcourse I do have a different ESC. mine took no work at all..
you Are sure you have the esc on the correct output on your receiver?
I could be wrong but you might need the enhanced receiver (fgr4b) where u can change the frequency of each channel

haha thanks man! Definately the best looking TRX Slash IMHO :)
