- (Helpful Links Below!) Today I get to be one of the first in the world to unbox and build up a highly anticipated release from ARRMA THE "EXB" - Extreme Basher Version of their popular platform the "KRATON"!
Get your shot glasses ready, because you are about to invent a game for Every Time I say "WOW!" First off, I LOVE THE COLOR! It is fantastic.. what a great improvement over the older "Green" version..but heck, I always have been partial to ALL BLACK and GREY! IT LOOKS SICK with all of the RED ALUMINUM Upgrades on this FULL OPTION ROLLER! I have decided to explore the new 'Smart" technology Horizon Hobby has to offer. They have been making quite a bit of noise about it lately.. and I want to see what all the hub-bub is about. Here is a video titled "So what is a "Smart" ESC anyway?", that Spektrum did on their Technology (its the video that sold me on seeing some of it myself.: • So What is a Smart ESC...
Furthermore, I know my "Rugged" DX5 Pistol Grip Radio was ready for the "Smart Technology" and will display a bunch of info on my RC's hooked up to smart receivers. I will comment more on this when I get some experience behind me. This Arrma build-up is my introduction.. and I have a lot to learn.

I absolutely made it to the end my friend! I’ve watched your videos wayyyyy back when you first started doing it and I can honestly say I STILL get excited when you post a new one. My son also watches with me and has really taken an interest in RC. I bought him a second hand mini e-revo a couple months back from eBay. The car is in like new condition but lacked any batteries or charger. I’ve been saving what $ I can and soon will have enough for two Traxxas 2 cells and the Traxxas smart charger. Soon we will be able to enjoy the hobby too thanks to your love for RC. Thanks for all you do Medic and we can’t wait to watch you bash this unbelievable spec’d out Kraton! Hey I like the set up you did my looking for some advice as new to electric my son got me the kraton 1/8th exb so I would like to fit spektrum firma 160amp esc but I'm struggling with the motor as I want a motor that runs cool id like to fit a 1100kv motor but think it's to big to fit do you have any suggestion
Watched start to finish, me and my wife both want one, bought her first rc a brushed DHK wolf 2 and walked her threw converting it to 3s brushless, she loves your videos and your wife is the one that got her into the rc hobby, from the scx10 build she did a while ago. My boys also love watching your videos with me. We both will be buying one and building them, a bashing them see who can last longer lol. Keep up the amazing work..
Watched every second👍 Never had any experience with the Copperhead 2 tires since I have a v3 but myself and a few in the community have been running the Arrma LP Backflips on our Kratons. Would have loved to see that on this truck out of the box.
Nice overview and setup of the new Kraton EXB. You said to seal the wheels up, that's never worked for me, instead I poke holes in all my basher tires. hole in the wheel, holes in the tire.. lets all the stuff that gets in fling out! Saves from balloon bursting your tires. HAVE FUN with the EXB!

I got into the RC hobby when my company got a drone 2 years ago. Started with that and got myself an XMaxx 6 months ago...I have too many expensive hobbies lol

Hell ya a BASHER!!! This Extreme Bash Kraton has so many great upgrades. I think they will do all there 6s line up as EXB rollers
There is also a balance wire hold down, u have to undo the rubber piece n put the balance wire threw n then put the rubber back n it holds it out of the way.

@@TheRealRCSparks I know, but neither one or any other Arrma has been on the channel in years, and Im sure you haven't bought any others. I know Traxxas sends you free trucks and thats why they have basically been the only bashing trucks featured by you in recent years. I get it, its free stuff. Thats why Im just glad to see this change.

@@TheRealRCSparks I'm so jealous I've watched this video like 10 times or more I have a 4S arrma kraton and I have nothing but problems with it the diffs keep blowing out the pinions keep breaking in the differential and I'm broke and can't fix the thing waiting for hot racing differentials but wish I would have just waited and bought the EXB I've had a Maximus same thing nothing but problems and I just have horrible luck with them but as soon as I'm able to I'm going to get the Exb but awesome unboxing and love your videos
I have stock talion. Now looking for new and heads been turned by exb. What power systems u recomend . I'm from uk so costs more for stuff but really interested in your opinion . Me and my dad love it. I'm 47 but we have such fun, bar repairs mate!!. Cool vid bro. Peace out
Love my EXB!! Did this same setup and pulled it out first week and went with hobbywing max6 and hobbywing 1650kv motor and woke the beast up!!!

I am currently getting back into RC, haven't RC'd since I was a kid, This channel has been a huge inspiration for me. Didn't even know that Hydraulic RC was a thing until I found your channel a few weeks back. I'm currently in the middle of building a hovercraft coz I wanted to start with something relatively easy and it was something that my dad and I started when I was younger but we never finished it.

Spektrum tech has opened a new door to RC’s with the smart tech and can’t go wrong with this box❤️👍Got one for my Blackjack 42 and the other rc’s are being switched out now👍

Nice, full option roller. For me, it’s the best way to buy an RC. I’ve not been to happy with RTR’s most of the time. My favourite RC’s have upgrades on the Chassis, with my own ESC, Motor, Servo & Radio..Just the way it is 👍🏻😎
