Hi John so I got the Begara. Found a place online The Gun Co and got it with steel barrel for 899. He also had a extra magazine and the Begara 30 moa rail. Arrived yesterday and went and did paperwork today. Picking it up Thursday. So if I have money and want something I’m not the kinda person to say I’ll wait and try it first and maybe down the road get something. So I’m getting bonus at work and really was thinking chassis. Mpa or MDT. I spoke to Alltus here in Florida and they sell both but said mdt won’t work because barrel is to short yet I noticed yours and barrel looks flush with end. Is this a issue. Than I read mpa has feed issues so I called mpa and they said immediately it’s true and they sell a magazine block for 10 dollars you just push in chassis and problem fixed. Have you had feed issues with mdt. I’m actually impressed with how nice the standard stock is and read it’s all aluminum inside My biggest question for you is will it be more accurate in a chassis that standard stock. Thxs again Sean.
Ps why I ask is if I keep original stock I’m gonna get 14 inch area 14 arca rail which is 215.00 but if getting chassis I don’t need that and don’t want to throw away 215 dollars. That’s why I trust your opinion about accuracy and if chassis is a better bet for competition

The barrel is about 1/2” short for the MDT ACC chassis, but it still works fine. However, we did not see any accuracy change from the factory stock. The factory piece is very good and if you don’t need the additional features of the chassis, just adding a rail to the factory stock is a good option. I did have slight feed issues if I pulled down on the magazine after insertion. Pushing up on the mag solves it. There are some fixes, but I will be switching over to a VuDoo 360 soon in that chassis, so I didn’t want to modify the Bergara mags.

Were the Bergara mags as vulnerable to placement issues when run in the factory Bergara stock? Were they as "bump sensitive" with barricades? Was it necessary to do the "insert, pull, seat" routine to ensure they were fitting well in the factory stock?

Not generally. The issue seems to be when using chassis systems with more generous magazine wells.

@@8541tactical I couldn’t get the Bergara mags to reliably feed when I dropped the b14r action in my KRG Whisky chassis. I tried adjusting the trigger guard with no luck.

Since the barrel doesn’t extend beyond the end of the ACC chassis, would there be enough clearance to still have a barrel tuner attached? I currently have an ATS tuner that I use with and without a suppressor.

It might work if there were no internal weights installed. I have not measured for that specific tuner.

It's a little short. It's no big deal just say it's cold out.

What mag springs did you end up getting? The ones for the sw22?

Yes, but haven’t had a chance to install and test yet.
