Omnisphere eat your heart out. I prefer this to these hi fi sounds. Full of character. I recognize the stock sounds here and there… nice to hear them in a different context. Well done!!!
The JV1080 is a gorgeous sounding unit. No need for post proccesing with these. The main reason why I prefer hardware over software, to me the sound has much more depth, emotion and natural stereo spread. Love it.
I very recently pulled the trigger on a JV-1080 (I have yet to receive it). I am very tempted to get both the Interstellar and Bioluminescence soundsets after watching the videos. They both sound awesome.
@@Conforce of course, zero ports for expansion, non-touch sensitive keyboard, just aux, but when you are ~10 years old, in the mid '90s, it was like touching the rainbow. I really regret that I dont have cassettes with the music I did on it. I am very grateful to You, for Your music.
I bought this the other day and haven't had any joy transmitting the sysex file using Midi Ox. Do I have to set the Roland to some kind of receive mode?
@@Conforce Thanks, I did check that write protection was off. The MIDI in lights light up rhythmically while the transfer is in progress, but no patches change. I don't have access to an elektron device but will keep trying
Conforce oh yes very different. Mine is in need of a bit of tlc at the moment (red glue) but every time I turned it on I’m always amazed by its expressiveness
Go get your mediocre bread and butter shit sounds for free then. Go spend weeks to find a decent patch in 20 free sounpacks with panflutes and cheesy pianos. You are probably also using a cracked roland cloud version. If more and for free means better to you. This is 2 weeks of full dedicated programming and research. you will get the best presets you will hear coming out of a jv1080 and I know because I turned every soundbank inside out. If that ain’t for you and your ‘everything is for free’ world then piss off. And also let me know if you find anything useful!
Great work, fantastic patches. These synths still sound amazing today.
many thanks! yes don't they?

Totally agree.., omnisphere has something overly stereo and plastic
@@Conforce100%.
Love this bit of hardware, but synth aside; love your music man :)
That makes me miss my old synth! A+++++

agreed
I wonder if there are any plugins to help software sound more like hardware ?
Awesome patches. Love this synth.
2 years later. Great patches!

Yeah no pan flutes or bread and butter sounds here
Underrated synths compared to modern digitals. It’s a matter of waiting for a proper controller
Very nice patches! Can you load the JV 1080 with several soundsets or do they automatically overwrite each other?
Get a ram card
@@Conforce like the clone 512mb card?
love the sounds..theres not enough time in a humans life to xplore everything to jv ten eighty can do
hehehe
Really..?
@Alfred Joaquin Sorry Too much time on synths to be wasting time watching movies..Are you spamming this mans channel?
Lovely patches
How did you convert the sys-ex/.bin between each other?
Nice patches!
It sounds like the future
Stunning
Hey man loving this. Would they work on the jv 1010? Cheers
Yes they do
Great. Got any e-mu gear? Some new libraries for those would also be great..
Never used those
@@Conforce if u get a chance try them, they r great
@@bukaglasna where can you get new patches for Proteus 2000?
Did you end up adding the Orchestra board?
badass, very badass
These patches are beautiful ! What did you use to create the reverb & other effects?
all internal. and i'm not even using the main effects. just the basic chorus and rev/delay connected to the oscilators
@@Conforce impressive you made such great sounds with just the basic chorus/rev
...red LEDs, green letters, rectangular buttons.
This reminds me about my Casio CT-615 when i was young :)
this is way more powerful

@@jareknowak8712 yeah it's like duck hunt vs n64
Were there extra effects added or is this how my JV 1080 would sound as a stand alone ?
100% JV

Try transfer from elektron
Might be on a mode that doesn’t allow writing… dive in the utility menu

I would be very interested if you make some patches for the jd800, such a great synth
yes it sounds different though, more grainy or something
Conforce oh yes very different. Mine is in need of a bit of tlc at the moment (red glue) but every time I turned it on I’m always amazed by its expressiveness
you prefer jv 1080 ,blofeld or microwave for spacy ethereal airy evolving pads ?
all can do it!
Conforce yes and softsynths are also great for that !
Do these sound better in the 2080 or the 1080? Or is there any difference?
Minuscule differences perhaps that are non hearable

25 for this? when you can get more then that for free......yeah..... makes totally sense.....

Powerful synth and amazing sounds!
