DJs often play many different versions of a drop in their setlist just to change it up a bit. I've heard Skrillex do a thousand recreations of his hits throughout the years, I can't ever remember the original drops.

If they made him re-create every instrument live given the sample pack and fruity loops or w/e - now that would be the equivalent. It is really hard to remember all the lyrics to a song when you are a writer - because new songs keep popping in - the creation process does not stop. Opposite problem of writer's block.

He's one of the most successful in the lyric game because edm producers spend weeks/months making their songs while pop singers spend 30 mins and they don't even write the lyrics most of the time. EDM PRODUCERS DESERVE MORE RESPECT! They deserve the title "musician" way more than any singer
