Thanks Alan. I use N() to add comments/descriptions to formula but I had not thought about using it with SUMPRODUCT. I like that solution because occasionally a user thinks the double negative is an error and "corrects" it. Using the N function would make it more obvious that the action was intentional and should not be edited lightly.
If i select a month from drop down list in excel sheet For example, If i select February from drop-down list Then output should be as below: January February February March April May June July August September November December Please give a solution sir
Thanks Alan! I''ll remember this functionality as N for "notes". Thumbs up!!
Nice!! Thanks, Wayne.
Thank you. This is the first time I heard of the N function.

Absolutely. Always learning Mark. Love it!
That's very helpful, I've been thinking about how to write a comment in a formula. Now I know how to do it. Thanks!
You're very welcome.

Nice thinking Grainne. I like this reasoning for using the N function instead of the double negative.
Great video Alan, N function also permit to INDEX function work with multiple rows and results in multiple values
Thank you Oscar.
Nice tip, but it only seems to work for adding comments in formulae that return a value.
