I started in RC airplanes in the 90s as a teen.... got into racing and bashing a little in the early 2000s... got into RC Crawling some then as well... Been heavy into racing with my son for about 7 years now... and recently got into onroad a little, Tamiya and vintage/retro, etc...

Thinking of building a basher and getting back into it again. Probably a Traxxas. Bash at the skate park since our track has been replaced with a bike track. Might be fun to bash on there as well.
40 y/o father and husband leaves little time or money for rc. 3 trucks over the years. Kyosho Outlaw Rampage in the 90s. Tower ST-15 in the earlier 2000s which still starts with an O.S. engine. Now I nurse along a 5 y/o Rustler which is Castle powered. All bashing. Local BMX track is where I get it dusty. Next I'd like to do a Grasshopper for nostalgia.
I think that I am an rc explorer kind of type. I like to try all sorts of rc products, from 2wd, 4wd, 6wd, robotic platforms, scale crawlers, competition crawlers, bashers, racers, minis, drifters, tracked vehicles, build-kits and in other areas of the rc hobby I am the same. I like seaplanes, edfs, acro-planes, scale-planes, indoor planes, photo/video-quads, hexa-, octo-copters and fpv racers. I also like to use rc to explore, by putting an fpv system on a car, a tank, a plane or copter of sorts. I am also interested in rc boats that can transmit video from below the surface, like the Trident or some +roducts from Blueye robotics.

Rc crawlers guys that take there axials scx's , assenders, rc4wd , tr4 trail rigs out on the hikeing trails find rocks, stumps etc to test there rigs out. I consider myself a rc collector/ crawler / scaler. I have axials, rc4wd, traxxas.
I'm definitely in that basher class. Just another traxxas slash newbie. Just don't have enough time or money to do too much more, though I've fully upgraded my slash. I'm currently looking into building my own solid axel monster truck out of a hodge podge of different rc parts. Gonna use a redcat everest as my base model.

I have a 2 bashers, 2 racers and 2 scale cars in order traxxas sumitt 1/16, redcat tornado, Yeti Score TT, associated b6d, scx10II, and a tamya 911 I use the track that I built for the racers any tips on how to harden the surface it is loose dirt for the track and road base for the jumps I've tried water and a water filled roller and both worked minimally I run the scx10II in the woods works well highly recommended I run the bashes wherever is convenient and the 911 in my neighborhood.

Bashing. I like upgrading my Stampede 4x4 and seeing Improvements. I love taking them apart and back together, tuning the alignment stuff like that.

I am a basher and love doing speed runs. There is a great park by me(Tom Sawyer) it has a bmx park and trails and large parking lots for speed runs.
