I got my first taste of live electric blues listening to The Famous Coachman in Detroit..Bobo Jenkins for one. I listened to Magic Sam, and loved his sound. When I got to Chicago I went to a bar called The Poinciana Lounge, which was on the west side of Chicago (corner of Lake and Hamlin). You'll find almost zero on the Poinciana, but it was definitely the place where I fell in love with the electric Chicago blues sound.
