Welcome to my Animal Crossing channel. Today's Animal Crossing New Horizons video is all about the remaining areas around the Animal Crossing New Horizons Island, that still feel unused, or as if they originally served a purpose.
We highlight 4 unused areas that can be found around the New Horizons Island, that seemly exist in the game, but have no practical reason for being there. We drawn certain conclusions, and discuss whether or not these have hidden meanings. We also compare these features from previous games, to try and understand if these unused areas belong to scrapped features, or hint towards future updates or instalments of Animal Crossing. The unused area in the museum should have been Celeste’s shop that contains some cool af space themed stuff, like what they have in Pocket Camp. PLEASE. 😭
The fact that Celeste is not in the museum makes me so incredibly sad 😞 it feels so unfinished. How hard would it be for them to add that into an update!?.. but they wont.. I hope the next animal crossing game is more complete and even better
Instead of naming constellations like in previous games, what if Celeste helped you predict weather on days without shooting stars? And on shooting star nights the observatory was closed and Celeste was walking around like usual
I always wondered about the stairs behind the cashier area in nooks cranny. I have a waterfall on my peninsula and my lighthouse on top of that.
Something else that seems unused is the luggage carts in the airport that you see towards the back left
There are also a buncha doors in the museum that seem to lead to no where, like the one in the fossil room and the one in the deep sea diving area
I hope in the near future that Celeste has her Observatory Door put in the right side of the Museum, I miss Celeste and her Constellation 🌌 making Mini game. I made a Heart appear in the sky in Animal Crossing Wild World on my Birthday and I miss seeing it on my Birthday.
The seats from the airport along with peninsula and the secret beach "areas" can be used for aesthetic purposes.
The seating area in the cafe is unlocked later in game.
I think the seats in the airport is there for when you have friends over to sit and wait their time to leave. My peninsula currently holds my campsite.
I remember there were some datamines about Nook's having a 3rd upgrade, I dislike that they scrapped that idea. 😔
The fourth cliff tier is unused unless you hack the game or find an exploit! I think all the exploits have since been fixed by now, unfortunately. I'm not sure what to do with the peninsula on my island, but I think I'll turn it into an outdoor arcade type of area.
I’m still holding out hope that they’ll add island tours like in New Leaf and maybe that’s another reason why there’s 8 chairs at the airport lol and that Celeste will still get her observatory lol..I can dream.
On my island, the peninsula is used as a diving spot, and it was named Deadman's Bluff. I always figured that spot was intended for a lighthouse. For the other side of the museum that is unused, they could have opened that up and made it Celeste's observatory. I wish I knew why they did not. It would be neat if Nintendo decided to surprise all of the ACNH players by doing another wonderful update, but I really do not see that happening.
It's a bit bittersweet seeing things that could have been way more. Acnh is my first ac game and I feel they really could have made it the definitive version to play with some more updates.
Where does Zipper live?
I use my peninsula as a boat docking area for the yachts right now. That could change if I get an idea for it.
I also wished it would be possible to build bridges over cliff gaps 🥲 the potential is unused :D
I guess the cairs and 2nd floor 2 entrance would be obvious for an observatory/museum shop and multiplayer travels but i think the tarenciula was either ment to be unused from the start or if it was ment to be used may be used for maybe go to to your in game parants’s house to visit them to reunite once again
