Great video! My 17 was a dog in normal mode so I always switched to sport everytime I got in. The 21 I thought would be worse power wise in normal with the 37's but seems ok. I like the the option to leave it at the last setting when you start, but the notice seem short if you are not looking at the dash I wonder if there is a way to make the notice last a few seconds longer. Would like to see if you are using Forscan to make some changes. Thanks
I will most likely being using forscan for a few things here in the future. It is nice to have the option of returning to the last mode you were in, but it's not a whole lot different than turning the drive mode knob one click to sport mode.
It might be a week or two, but I certainly can do that! I had to send my main video camera out for repair, but it should be back next week I think. The one I'm using now works alright for stationary videos, but not very well for driving videos.
I placed my order for a 2021 on 9/22/21. Then, it had to be changed to a 2022 model year on 10/15/21. I got a VIN in early November, and then the truck was built in mid December. The only email I got was when the order was placed. My dealer kept me updated though.
@@gearzgadgets5872 wow! I ordered Nov. 6, and only got a conformation by email. The dealer hasn’t contacted me about anything unfortunately. Thanks a lot for the info in the video first one I’ve seen!
Thank you! You're right, mine is just an 800A with the torsen package, convenience package, and block heater as the only options. I do have Co-pilot360 2.0, as that is standard on Raptor. Within Co-pilot360 2.0 there is reverse sensing, reverse camera, and reverse brake assist. I also have 360 cameras that were part of the convenience package. I don't believe I have any automatic parking features though.
@@gearzgadgets5872 thanks. Mine gets built next month and I didn’t think it did. There’s just some conflicting things online I saw. Anyways , Thanks and enjoy the truck !
@@suprand the information is certainly confusing. I had no idea my truck would have lane centering, but it does. When you read thru the info, it sounds like you have to get Co-pilot360 Assist 2.0 to get lane centering, but somehow my 800A has it with only Co-pilot360 2.0. Oh well, I'm not complaining!
Thanks for showing the new My Mode for 2022. Is there anything else that the 2022 has new over the 2021? I got conformation on my order 10/29/2022 but no serial number or build date yet. It would be really great to know what I will be getting for for over $80.000 . LOL!
I believe the MyMode feature is the only "added" feature for 2022MY over 2021, in addition to a new color options and some changes to the packages. I have some more videos in the works so I can do one going over all the options/features at a high level to give you an idea on everything.
@@gearzgadgets5872 Thank you. I have a the 37 package with blue seats and don't know what the dash will look like since it is not available with the carbon fiber package.
@@douglasfernandez7996 that is good that 2022 is finally available on the build and price site. I had the carbon fiber on my 2018 and it sure looked nice!
Just got back from raptor assault and noticed the 22s (that’s what trucks they have) have an ‘off road’ mode. On my 21 I have deep sand/snow there. I’m guessing they are the same thing?
That's what I would guess, off road mode on a 22 being the same as deep sand/snow on a 21. In off road mode, the steering is comfort, suspension is off road, exhaust is sport, and 4HI is default with 4LO available.
This is the Access Lorado roll up cover. I put it on my 2018, and really liked it so I removed it before selling and mounted it on my 2022 now. It's been a good cover.
I don't have enough miles to really have a good idea yet. Truck is showing 12.8 for the 250 miles I have on it, but that includes a couple hrs of idle time. I have to make a 150 mile highway trip in a couple of weeks, so I'll probably do a highway mpg video on it then.
I recently picked up a 23’. I have had a 13’ and a 19’ before. I can say that I think ford finally got the newer 10 speed transmission dialed in. Works much better than it did on my 19’. My 23’ seems much more refined that the previous one. So far I’m liking it.
I find it pretty handy that I can just double punch the R button rather than adjust the drive mode, exhaust mode, steering mode, suspension mode, and transfer case setting all individually.
Finally someone who explain the my mode the right way thank you.
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Awesome video! Glad I found your channel, love the Raptor content.
Thank you! More to come this weekend!
Thank you!
These are great vids man. keep it up has really helped me while I'm waiting for dealer to get allocation and get mine ordered. Thx again
You're welcome and Thank you for watching! I'm planning to do plenty more videos!
Great videos. Keep them going. Waiting for my 22 to get here In Another month. Would like to see raptor status with the different modes.
Thank you! I am working on more videos so I will add Raptor Status in different drive modes to my list!
your vids are great on 1.5x speed!
I'll try to keep them from getting drawn out!
You can put a time to start in quiet mode. For example I have quiet mode set from 5am-8am
Yep, that option came with a SYNC update a while after this video. Neat feature for sure.

can you make a video on the radar cruise / lane centering and how it works on high way and stop and go traffic

Would have been a nice added feature on my ‘21 Raptor. Hopefully Ford makes exiting My Mode simpler.
I agree, it is a little clunky to exit MyMode as the only way seems to be to change one of the individual settings - exhaust, steering, or suspension.
Great video. You don’t have the 801a right? Does yours have pilot 2.0? Wondering if raptors have self parking sensors

To put it in sport mode you turn the knob by your right knee that is labeled drive mode.
