The 4x4 is magnetic that model had a little issue with the front hub. You have to use a special Polaris gear oil in the hub. You can’t use regular gear oil magnetic won’t engage the hub.

I was actually wondering about that! So if you used the wrong oil would the front dif be destroyed or can you still drain it out and change it and it'll be fine?

The hubs are what lock, not the diff. You can drain and refill them easy.

What year is it? And where would you happen to have bought those lights and muffler? I have similar quad maybe a little older and can’t find much for it

I bought them both on Amazon the exhaust is universal and the led lights I just cut the factory plug in and used the pigtails to wire the lights 😀 I hope that helps

i have both and honestly you dont even need 4x4 its always pulled me up wherever i want to go and its heavy in the front end so no scary wheelies up hill
